Sometimes it seems the only way to feel good about our supposed representatives in Washington, is to disappear inside a TV fantasy like the now absent West Wing series. But Bernie Sanders is for real. The song is fitting too - he, Kucinich and a couple others maybe, really are swimming against the tide. We need more like them.

I wish Bernie Sanders would be our Next President and bring dignity back to America and fight for those who are poor and without healthcare. Funny we are so rich as a country and we cant give basic healthcare to every American. I think our founding fathers would not recongnize the good ole usa.

A "true" independent in the Senate that is what is really needed, I don't agree with all that much of his policy, but this is just really great in my opinion being an independent (unaffiliated) myself.

I would have loved to see Fox's coverage of his victory. I can imagine them screaming of communist infiltration or something equally reactionary. Or- perhpas they didn't mention it at all, to do even more damage. If something can't be smeared, it's simply ignored.
