Even if credit was given in the program, this dancer is good enough she shouldn't need to use Sonia's choreo. I don't get it. She seems perfectly capable of coming up with something unique. I'd like to see that!

For the record: The piece was listed in the program only as "drum solo" with the names of the performers. I know that Jay has taken workshops with Issam, but his main teacher for the past few years has been Raquy Danziger.

has anyone considered that it mat not be the dancer who has put this up, it may have been made clear in a programme who choreo'd the piece. If people are producing vids with choreo on they should not be suprised when the dancers that buy them to use, perform them! It is a compliment to the choreographer!

The Art of the Drum Solo is one of the most well known drum solo training videos. Not a good idea to just completely steal the almost exact choreography and music without credit.

Hey, you should sign that this is Sonia's choreography! You can perform it but always tell that this is not yours!

Hi! Is VERY a like Sonias solo. You dance good but you should do your own choreography. You can allways get inspired by a video and use same step but not all of them.

Give credit to Issam in your listing. This is his solo. It's poorly represented here. It would be beneficial simply composing an original solo instead of poorly copying one.

Great performance, the drum rolls are clean and the dancers accents are really sharp. Nice.

Learning a pre-composed drum solo is an amazing way to learn. I was bugging my teachers for years to just give me a simple solo that I could learn and do over and over again.

Yeah for Issam!!! Once I was at a level that I could start learning a few of his pieces my playing advanced a tremendous amount.

You should really give Issam credit.

You're right! Issam and Sonia composed/choreographed this piece. Many dancers use it, but proper credit should always be given!

He is quite capable of composing wonderful original solos and has done so. He played what he was asked to play and I think they were both great. As far as giving credit, yes people should give credit but this was not posted by him or her and I'm not sure you attended the actual performance to say whether or not credit was given there...
