the reason y the dwarves were excluded is probably because the nearest dwarves to the land lived in moria. Moria was defeated and thus the dwarves were mainly gone until after the defeat of sauron where they re inhabited moria.

Probably Tolkien tried to make a whole new story with The Lord of the Rings, because his editor told him to write the sequel of The Hobbit, while what he desired was to write about the Middle Earth ages passed long ago, reason enough to consider the dwarves short appearence in the sequel.

The reason I write that in all my videos is because the last time I neglected that information, Kontor New Media took down my old account because they thought I was trying to profit and take credit for their music. By writing the disclaimer, it emphasizes that I'm only sharing the content and not trying to exploit it.
