I saw her sing this song in August of 1970 at the Ambassador Hotel in LA. She wore a fire engine red sequined dress with a huge afro. When she came out from behind the curtain, the whole audience went wild. 41 years ago and I can still remember it as though I had just walked out of the showroom. Excellent.
