I was thinking about what she said, that pop music is better than art, and yes, it sounded rough at first but I guess what she means is that pop music can easily send a message to a large number of people in a way that everyone can understand the meaning or message, and art, only few understand or appreciate it, for example an abstract painting.

She relates this environment to us in a no holds barred, honest fashion. These musical ideas have come to her since she was just a girl. U dont have to dance to enjoy, just escape into ur own mind and you get it or you dont. Not her loss. Shes just herself.
She is from Iceland where people are inside because of the long winters. They can be locked way inside their own minds, uneasy to take in just anything that is new coming along. So she Bjork is like a glimpse at what any of us may be without enormous outer influence. Less than 300,000 people on the whole of Iceland. Very small population. A facinating glimpse into one mind. One woman inside her mind and experiencing an environment most will never see.
