  • babe why diet ???

    ur in great shape :))))

i see u and i think ur ok

  • no duh diets dont work, sure u will lose weight but as soon as that stops u will gain a lot of weight back

  • This is the classic example of why anyone can be a coach. All you gotta do is pay your $15 every month. Get your facts straight. In medical terms, they use the word "diet" as a means to maintain a strict eating pattern to stay healthy, lose weight, and control chronic diseases such as diabetes. In the fitness industry, they use the terms of eating certain foods to build muscles or lose weight. It's not necessarily temporary; it actually could be a lifechanging necessity for many people.

  • I disagree. Diet is used in so many ways now. It doesn't necessarily mean what it says in the dictionary you read because people including doctors are using it interchangeably....When people start using a word or even a slang more than what it is define in our dictionaries, eventually the meaning changes or the "slang" becomes an actual word. That is why we see updates in our dictionaries all of the time. Diet to me means you are changing the way you eat to live healthier.

  • you're a great example of walking your talk Deni. Good on you. xx

  • I like the definition of diet as "food and drink regularly provided or consumed" (from Merriam-Webster). Keyword being “regularly”. Meaning this isn't a special occasion or for a special reason. This is what you would do normally. Some people associate diet with weight loss, but I think people should associate diet with health as in having food discipline.

  • @sam2943 You hit it right on!

  • Awesome!

  • Exercise is fitness. Food is health. - Tony Horton

  • I soo agree, I hate the word diet. Diets def don't work.

  • P lifetime X - I'm all onboard with this. Hybrid or whatever you have to do, just keep push'n play. It doesn't get any simpler than this.

  • totally pretty, sexi, fit, and lean with nice muscle tone

  • Most people refer to the word diet as a weight loss program, but, a diet is what you consume, be it healthy or unhealthy. What people should be aiming for is a healthy, balanced "diet". People who cut carb intake and exercise more to lose weight will actually be burning protein before fat if they aren't getting enough fuel from carbs. A balanced "diet should consist of the following; carbohydrate 50-55%, fat 30-35%, protein 10-15% daily intake. Fat=essential fatty acids.

  • @nandia01 you should be coach!

  • I totally agree. I hate the word diet because its so contrary to what it really takes to lose weight and KEEP IT OFF. Eating sensibly means eating to live, not living to eat. Great vid! I'm halfway through my first round of Insanity and my life has changed!

  • So all in all what diet should I use.... :P

  • I watched that episode yesterday as well. A healthier eating habit should be a way of life, not a means of weights loss.

  • hi isabel,thanks for the video,great info!
