Actually, stop and think about the song they're dancing to. It's "Me and Bobby McGee" originally by Janis Joplin. When Janis Joplin was alive and performing, a lot of the older generation thought she was shocking, and the end of the world as we knew it. The thing to remember is that time and age mellow things out and smooth off the rough edges. When the kids of today reach their fifties and sixties, the "shocking" entertainment they're growing up with will have been tamed down. Age does that.

Hurrah! The "Chaney Gang" performed this Tandem Routine on 7/25/09 in Spartanberg, SC and I managed to locate the singer, Rhonda Mcdaniel lounging on a nearby lake...after some directions, she and hubby attended the event as VIP guests and have subsequently requested that our crew perform for this years Music Awards! All this will be pending approval from the planning committe or course...so, I know where I will probably be this Novemeber....Thanks to all the viewers and great comments!

If you mean "Rhonda McDaniel"not Ruth McDaniels she is apparently good enough to be named Artist of the Year Gary Chaney had informed me in the past that he, Charlotte, and Debbie passed on dozens of songs before they decided on this version for thier tandem routines.
