I have a question. Why is it that whenever there is someone that is trying to make the world a better place they alway get assassinated by some lone nut who is an expert at killing, but a joke at trying to get away? Ray bought the gun 6 days before which means he had much time to think and plan everything out. We're talking about someone who escaped jail twice. Why would he leave the evidence behind in a perfect bundle for the police to find? This is a more plausable question. Please explain.

I did time in prison with an old guy at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary. The same prison were james was at and. The old man was james cell mate for 8 years and he said james dide not do it.

Wow, the King family wanted a new trial for Ray because they thought he was a patsy. Unfortunately Ray died and the King family had to settle for a civil trial in Memphis. Actually, ballistic tests were inconclusive. Judge Joe Brown (yes, the same one you see on TV today) oversaw a new hearing regarding Dr. Kings death. He made a public statement that out of 12 shots fired from "Rays" rifle, none of them matched up to the bullet that killed MLK. Shortly thereafter, Judge Brown was "retired" from the bench, which is why you now see him holding court for a bunch of morons.
