I want to rig up some marine batts., a few alts., and a good size magnet motor in a pickup truck. What would be a good motor to use for power comparable to some of the ones in HD pickups?

@FuhQueToo I can get you some magnet motors if you want but you will need to buy a controller as well. I will have to get back to you tomorrow on pricing. Before I do get pricing, how heavy is you HD pickup? Need to know to size the motor right.

I recommend buying EV motors from Trans Atlantic Electric Conversions. Just do a google search on that name and check out their webstore....

Where did you buy the Engine for the car?

will there be any chance by an accident the driver will be electricuted with the live electricity?

@aldimca I doubt it. I have the wires going through the center of the car in the tunnel where the exhaust pipes where. Also there are fuses in case of a short which would blow and thus prevent the circuit from being complete. I also had a mishap with this car and accidentally let it roll down my driveway into a tree. Both airbags came out and nothing happened to the batteries. They all stayed in place.
