  • I think these black women dont know the difference between curly hair and nappy hair....

  • Stop Hating on the Girl! Fuck any of you that don't like her! Your Black ass father shouldn't have left your ugly burnt black mother then you might have grow up to be a fucking human and not a bitch.

  • Mulato is spanish for a person that is half white and black. You should have used Mulata though cause your a girl. Mulato is for a boy. But either way, interesting video.

  • What is biracial hair?? I think there is only three types of hairs straight curly and afro

  • mulatto diaries? this is the dumbest title I have ever heard. I'm a biracial woman myself and for damn sure don't find this title appealing.

  • what is biracial hair?

  • You father made a video stating that you are not mixed.

  • Well I dropped here by accident and I (not being from English speaking country) am kind of lost about what the problem is. You were in a car and somebody that was not N... said the N.. word and oh-my-god-the-world-is-goin-to-end in like five minutes ...? Really ?

You are pretty but your diary is ... boring ...

    Cheers

  • So why can you say honkey or cracker but we cant say nigger?

  • @whipanigger cause back then u guys used to call slaves that! its ur own damn faults! ps- im biracial (i cant even say nigger or cracker!)

  • YEA YOUR MOM IS WELL SPOKEN SOUNDS EDUCATED AND POISED... AND BY FIERCE YOU MEAN SHE COULD HAVE GOTTEN "GHETTO LOL" BUT SHE ISNT GHETTO AT ALL AND BEING BLACK ISNT DEFINING HER... :-) I THINK THAT WHITE GUY LEARNED A LESSON

  • HAHAHA 'LIGHTS OUT JUST LIKE A NI**ER "HAHAHA

  • WELL SPOKEN

  • ur hair is not biracial your hair is curly... any person can have curly hair most blacks and a good portion of whites has this ...... -_-

  • @kiaranatural13 actually having biracial hair is reffering to texture which a person CAN have, i am living proof of that, my hair is curly, which your right isnt specific to a certain race, but my texture however is very unique, its thick like afro hair but its a silkier texture as opposed to the rougher afro hair, not that thats bad. im just saying my hair texture is closer to my asian and white genes rather than my blatina ones. :)

  • Your hair doesn't look good curly or straight and you look like a five year old with your hair in braids like that.

  • Where are you located in the US or Canada?

  • Buffalo Soldiers,Tuskegee Airmen, Fredrick McKinley Jones invented mechanical refrigeration. George Edward Alcorn invented imaging X-ray Spectrometer.Lewis Latimer Invented the Long life lightbulb. Granville Woods Invented a variation on the induction telegraph.Patricia Bath Invented a form of eye surgery using lasers.Garrett Morgan Invented the Gas mask, and a type of traffic light. Otis Boykin Invented: Improved electrical resistor, and a control unit for pacemakers. thank you black people.

  • @markstarr66 How in the blue hell did Otis Boykin, George Alcron, and Patricia Bath not win a Nobel Prize in their fields?

  • @HybridD91 You've got me... I just dont know how they gave it to obama and he goes right ahead with the McCain Troop Surge in Afghanistan.

  • I think its funny that my name is tiff jones and that I'm biracial too!

  • wow, that story was crazy! Situations like that can be awkward..

  • omg my name is tiffany too lol and im biracial xD

  • I love this video, wish I had that hair, and the mind under it is very developed to, I espicially liked the discource about the nature of expectation of other people. I get sick of all this expectations bullshit, and the racial over tones of all of it. I don't expect any one to be anything and it is very difficult for people to accept. They expect me to be a racisit because I am an ornery old white guy. I love every body a little bit.

  • It saddens me that there are so many posts by biracial/mixed kids that are so obsessed with race. The reason being that in MOST cases the reason they are mixed/biracial in the first place is the simple fact that their parents saw past the boundaries of race and chose their mates hopefully because they saw more than just the color of their skin (I said most NOT all). I personally know that biracial/mixed kids do have hardships but that same love that helped create them should help them get thru.

  • I couldn't really understand what your mother was saying.

  • Thank you for saying Biracial and Not Mixed.I hate that term.So many people are so quicck to say mixed race, but mixed is not a race.

  • people are killing me with the negative comments. black people are a very diverse looking group. We come in so many different shades and hair textures. My mom is a dark skinned black woman with long curly hair. My dad and aunt are half white with nappy hair. who says u have to be biracial to have good hair. I ended up with my moms hair and dads color so people think im biracial. we are all mixed up.

  • You total LOOK black, the texture of your hair is like a black person and your complex is BLACK. So I guess your black mother genes are very strong!!! WOW!

  • @lovely6461 1. ) Stop your lying ass okay . Her hair is not the typical straight out Black hair texture and you know it, she has the kind of hair texture that causes conflict in the Black community with Black women " You got that GOOD hair " please are you saying she has never heard that comment from a Black person ? I'm sure she's heard it by plenty it's just the jealous bitches that say what you just said wont say that . LMAO WOW . Inferiority Complex much ?

  • @lovely6461 2. ) The jealous bitches say " Girl you have hair just like a Black person " when they know that this person they are speaking of has what it typically referred to in the Black community as GOOD HARR . Black people dont usually say that about the normal Black hair texture unless their just trying to make the Black person that has what is NOT commonly referred to in the Black community as GOOD HAIR feel better about NOT having it .

  • @lovely6461 3. ) She has the type of hair that little Black girls would try to kick her ass over if she was a kid. LMAO . So don't say that she has hair exactly like a Black person when you know she doesn't, the only person who would think that is either blind or jealous .

  • @BiracialGirl1977 Lets be clear. Understand why Black girls would feel inferior & White Girls wouldn't. She has what I consider to be beautiful hair- i.e thick and long. However, a White Girl with thin hair (even if straight) would still not admit that this Girl's hair is better. So understand the inferiority complex is there for a reason and due to people's deliberate actions. Actually, a lot of Black girls have beautiful thick hair as kids but due to straightening chemicals loose it.

  • @lovely6461 4. ) And since this is ( your comment ) coming from a Black girl I'm going to go with it's because you're jealous you are ONLY saying that cause you want to try and knock her down a peg or two ( I could tell by the way you structured your comment that you're Black and you sound hella jealous and hella pissed off that she identifies as Mulatto/Biracial instead of what you want her to say which is Black . )

  • @lovely6461 5. ) You think she's stuck on herself ( which she's not you're just really insecure ) and at the same time it makes you feel better about what hair texture you actually have * cough * or DON'T HAVE. . LOL Stop Playing

  • weak, you should have spoke up and called him a PUNK ASS IDIOT BASTARD!

  • Bi-racial is a Hybrid. NationofHYBRIDS com check them out clothing fo mixed people.....HYBRIDS.

  • Do this test. Ask any White person you know if they can name one thing they admire about Black contributions to America, as a racial group, not including sports or entertainment. Watch them get stumped. That lets you know that they don't think Blacks as a racial group have contributed anything to American society. They can name lots of negative stuff like crime. If they say civil rights, they will qualify it with, "but they had help from White people."

  • @Zodslayer I read this and It makes me laugh look at george washington carver, I am white and I see him as a person who contributed to america, oh yeah he happened to be black. Why does every single thing happen to revolve around race? is there anybody that is a human first?

  • @Zodslayer Mark Dean? Charles Drew? Lonnie Johnson? Benjamin Banneker? Walter Lincoln Hawkins? Charles Henry Turner? Percy Lavon Julian? Ernest Everett Just? Arlie Petters? Lloyd Noel Ferguson? There's more black people who contributed beyond sports, entertainment, and civil rights. White people will supress that and try to make themselves out to be better than blacks.

  • @Zodslayer peanut butter. what now?

  • I bet anything that both you and your Mother have tolerated racial slurs from time to time, from your father and members of his side of the family; and I bet anything that both you and your mother just put up with it. I've seen this situation with other Black Women who marry Caucasian men. Most Black Women who marry Caucasian men do it for money and to try and escape their own connection to the Black racial stigmas.

  • @Zodslayer you probably know, but it happens the other way around too. my father is a black man, and my mother a white woman. my mother has experienced abuse from his side of the family, and would often be ignored by them. hate comes from both sides, and honestly, it's just silly. skin colour does not matter and being any race (whether it be biracial or not) is not something i think you should pride yourself on. you don't have to do anything to achieve your skin colour.

  • @Zodslayer None of the black women I know married a white man for money or escape...

  • @Zodslayer You think all white men have money??? Please..

  • Not saying something when these things happen, perpetuates the idea in Caucasian's minds that you don't have the right to check them when they violate you. Your mom is wrong on this point. No disrespect meant to your mother. You cannot reinforce this mindset in Caucasians that no one can stop them in their tracks and that they will be the judge of when you have the right or it is safe for you to defend yourself. You have to be stronger than that and stop "staying in your place."

  • You are clearly the one obsessing about your hair. For some odd reason, all the psychotic insecurities of some Blacks has led you to believe your hair is some advantage or something. You are co-psychotic. It is evident in every video you make that you got this thing about your hair that you have been convinced is some how better. You really need to take an honest look at yourself. Don't let Caucasians fool you into letting them get away with racial epitaphs. Don't fall for that bullsh*t.

  • @Zodslayer lol someons psycho.

  • wow was it ur choice to go to school with heart shaped glasses? lol. i was so shy and awkward i could not have done it AT ALL. AT ALL. lol.

  • Thanks for sharing your story with us!!!

  • yo my hair looks like that when i'm trying to straighten it, lol. you hair is just thicker than mine....

  • biracial tiffany ? ergh -_-

  • @1XxpwincessxX1 Haters!

  • She looks a little like Jimi Hendrix.

  • I too am Biracial whatever that means... strange postings here i know its hard for people to understand when i will explain two human beings love each then mate and surprise surprise a baby is born whatever the small surface difference we have .We are all humans....Apparently though on a scientific level Race is a cultural construct

  • wtf rubbish African is in the Oxford English dictionary

  • wow i would have got out that car because obviously he meant it..

  • You and your hair is beautiful i apologize for any negative comments i sent u :( please forgive me you are amazing person keep doing your thing girl and continue educating people and unity and love .. because of your videos i am inspired to wear my hair natural and grow it long :) and also i have a good outlook on biracial people and what they go through ... thank you so much :) STAY AWESOME

  • is this person on some type of drugs really

  • The Washington Post tells use that science has proved this and Africans have the most diversity on the face of this planet with over 33 different skin tones, eye colors, except blue and hair textures........but I forgot.............black people can only look one way right? PLEASE PEOPLE DO YOUR RESEARCH!

  • Let me tell you what the biggest lie was in American history and all around the world....that we still believe. People think that if you ARENT dark or you DO NOT have a wide nose you aren't a TRUE representation of BLACK identity. WRONG WRONG WRONG! This myth has been squashed!! They want you to think that other Africans with keener features or lighter skin tones aren't BLACK, they are mixed!! That isn't true. some people are so dumb! If white people are so diverse..let me see...WE CAN BE TOO!

  • Also I feel that it is okay to say that you are identified as mixed... but why can't BLACK people do the same?? In reality Black people are in most cases more mixed than mixed people... if that makes since... through DNA... maybe not PHENOTYPE but they are by blood. My problem is is that I feel like people only say they are mixed to feel better or that they have an advantage and they think black people are 100 percent black when in reality.......very few in America really are.

  • The problem with black people and people in general is that they are very ignorant! One televison they only show the darkest Africans with the widest nosed. Now they say that that is what BLACK looks like! Its so ignorant. Have you ever stopped to think, Wht people are diverse... they come in different shades, hair colors etc. SO CAN BLACK AFRICANS! The only reason why they don't show you other Africans or label them as Black is because they want people to feel inferior aka not attractive.

  • hi! my name is tiffany j jones...lol and i'm mixed! my background is black, trinidadian and i'm assuming a few other things (not exactly sure, guess its not so black and white ha!) but yea...just wanted to say that i stumbled on your channel and your name and the subject of this video intrigued me immediately! yay!

  • LMFAO. Wouldn't one half or one side of your hair have to be NAPPY or KINKY and the other side STRAIGHT for the biracial shoot?

Curly is a cross between straight and nappy and vice versa

  • @chsn09 Lol true

  • i love your mom, "he forgot you were black" lmbo

  • I love it !

  • Remarkable! Tiff is not afraid to take on VERY controversial topics of discussion!

  • one side straight, one side curly. that's funny. very satirical.

  • the topics that you bring up and the questions that you pose to yourself are awesome. I am a bi-racial man and ask myself some of the same things. You are cool and pretty too. Keep up the goodness.

  • Wow. I know Ann Arbor WELL. Have lot's of friends in Michigan....

    The stories are ENDLESS.

  • if you had to pick. do you like your white side or black side better. i know that is a odd question. but if you had to of been pure white or pure black would you of had a preference? hope you answer. peace

  • @MOUNTAINOUS

    "odd" is an understatement...

the only evaluation here is ignorance...

  • @22anavdb, also on site (backed by PNAS & the Stanford Dpt of

Anthropological Sciences): "Ethiopians are also among the most genetically diverse people in the world. A 2001 study based on cluster analysis that looked at a combined sample of Amhara and Oromo found that they share 62% of their genome with Caucasians (Ashkenazi Jews, Norwegians and Armenians), 24% with other Sub-Saharan Africans (Bantus), 8% with Austro-Melanesians (Papua New Guineans), and 6% with Far East Asians (Chinese)." :)

  • @CheezInspector Plus there are white Africans, what are you saying? If you are born and raised in Africa, you're African regardless of your race. There are very few people on the planet who are not mixed. Let's say every Ethiopian's genetic makeup was like the study described (not likely based on one study. Can you say statistical effect size?). That would make them multiracial, not bi-racial. They should have their own category since people that are bi-racial need their own, right?

  • @CheezInspector Plus there are white Africans, what are you saying? If you are born and raised in Africa, you're African regardless of your race. There are very few people on the planet who are not mixed with anything. Let's say all Ethiopians are as mixed as the study suggests (highly unlikely. Can you say statistical effect size?). They would be multiracial, and according to @biracialgirl1977 they need their own category, too, because they're not the same as biracial people.

  • @22anavdb, well of course there are Whites whose NATIONALITY (not genetic heritage) is African. But you seem to be conflating nationality with genetic heritage. I'm speaking to the latter. There isn't much genetic mixing in the African continent in general when compared to the extreme diverse genetic admixure recorded in North East Africa. And of course that makes sense since geographically that area is adjacent to non-African countries. Inevitably more racial mixing occurs.

  • @CheezInspector You can't have an "African" nationality because Africa is a continent, not a nation.

  • @blkazn77, yes, technically Africa is a continent but if you state you are of African "nationality" it obviously implies you are a citizen of one of the African countries.

  • @22anavdb 1.) Yes they do need their own category as well, because Multiracial and Biracial are 2 different things. Multiracial is being mixed with more than 2 races or having a not even remotely equal percentage of 2 races mixed together say like a person that is 65% Black and 35% something else they wouldn't be Biracial they'd be multiracial or mixed race.

  • @22anavdb 2. ) Biracial = one parent is of one race the other is of another race wholey or almost wholey. Biracial is half and half or close to it like like.. 55% one thing an 45% another thing that percentage is really close to a 50/50 split.

  • @22anavdb 3. ) Two Biracials having offspring together would still be Biracial genetically they would still be 50/50 or damn near close to it. If Biracial people reproduced with nothing but 50/50 biracials with their same racial mixture we could create our own distinct race.

  • @22anavdb 4. ) Having 2 predominately Black parents is not the same as Biracial I dont care how hard you try to argue with me about it its not the same and it never will be the same genetically no matter how hard you try to make it the same its not. Now to Society... that's a different story.

  • *18-25% white I mean.

  • this chick is fucking obnoxious.

she only makes videos to feel better about herself and to boost her self esteem.

Way to go, you have no depth as a human being :).

  • @iluvyouwyatt I hope you're joking. If not this is just me reveling in the "depth" of your humanness. Ahem. :)

  • i LOVE your hair curly, it's gorgeous

  • cool one side is curly lol.i would love to see more hair vids.

  • u should not call yourself self a mulatto it is not a good term, u basically disrespect yourself when u call yourself this. if u read any American literature ( supposedly Fredrick Douglass he explains what it means). wow never call yourself something that was made up in the past it's usually not good. i swear this is the biggest mistake i have ever seen.

  • @ilovedears I was thinking the same thing....

  • okay have ? which side is biracial wite folks have curly hair and some blacks folks have str8 i nothing getting this love the glasses i am a glasses lover thanks and blacks can str8 there hair and wite folks r latin what ever can make it curly and also my child is liter then most with curled eyes and both parents r black so being biraciial is trying to understand y ppl have a issue with u rite we r all mixed up

  • @overnitesinsay You just butchered the English language. I could not make any sense of what you wrote.

  • @kahanyah lol seriously!

  • @overnitesinsay Are you English?

  • ugly ugly ugly.

  • @GrandHustle2472

@2anavdb The whole hair thing, pshh, my Nigerian Family with no mixes, well no obvious mixes some of them, have long thick curly hair. Other have long afro hair. Its not just about if your mixed race, you have curly/wavy hair. Genetics is a weird and wonderful thing and it doesnt matter what colour you are, whether your mixed or whatever sometimes, within your DNA pattern you may have genes for fast growing hair, hair that grows long and be as dark as night etc etc

  • Aafricas main genetics is devided between these groups listed.

BANTU... these are the people of West Aafrica from the stereotypical facial features and Hair type.

KUSHITE.. these are the people of east and North East Africa, the Original Egyptiangs Fathers of Kemet (ancient Egypt) and LOOK AT PICTURES OF HOW WE LOOK NO DIFFRNT FROM BIRACIAL

NILEOTES r Geneticaly diffrnt and also originate from settlements along the nile...etc.. we are diverse and my point is thts more thn th American persptiv

  • by looking at the title of your video i just have a few word i really wish u read and responde if u can.

1st i come from Africa yea yea the thing u dont realise is that Africa is the most dives continent on this earth geneticwise.

i come from East Africa, my hair and all the people from this reagon have what u would call biracial to straight hair. from SOMALIA, ETHIOPIA, ERITRIEA TO KENYA.. we all have this type of hair AFRICA HAS DIFFRNT TYPES OF GENETICS.

  • @22anavdb, no one is personally "floodin'" your inbox LOL We all get notified when a person replies to a thread. I don't think you understand: it's the proximal/adjacent locations that lead to a particular type of race mixing that you can see reflected in the ppl and culture of Northern Africa: the strong Arab influence in the music, food, religion, dress code and buildings. Nor is mixing simply the product of colonization. Mixing also occurs from inter-relations and commerce.

  • Are you from detroit?? Im going to wayne state right now. I love it. Detroit is boring but Metro detroit is where i spend most my time anyway.

  • "I WAS BLACK BEFORE I WAS PRESIDENT"........BARACK OBAMA

HE ALSO CHECKED THE "BLACK BOX" ON U.S. CENSUS

  • People come in all colors. Bi-racial people usually have some native american indian, so that makes them tri-racial. I'm white, native american and black. I dont look black. But i'm still part black. I dont look all white ither. I have native american features and thick semi course hair and my skin is olive. Not everyone looks like tiffdjones, its not that clear cut.

  • @zuniga6412 No Black people do not usually have Native American in them they even did this study, they even have a documentary clearing this up with Louis Henry Gates. It came back that Only 1 in every 20 Black people have enough notable Native ancestry most Blacks do not have Native ancestry. That was rumor past down cause way back when, you could have been hung for even the mention of white Blood, so the slaves and ex-slaves would say they were part Indian to explain their mixed phenotypes .

  • @BiracialGirl1977 : I didn't say all black people have native american ancestry but their are a lot who do. Back in the day a lot people mixed but as time went on people got a lot whiter or black, But their is no pure race anymore. I don't look black but i carry the Duffy negative antigen for i am Rh O negative and that comes from Africa. Its considered a rare blood type and especially for someone who looks like me! My dad comes from Virginia and their was a lot of mixing in those days.

  • @zuniga6412 1. ) No. A lot of Black people dont have Native Blood it's just that a lot of blacks think that they do. It's a myth that has been passed down from generation to generation , there ARE particular Blacks that have Native ancestry but most do not.

  • @zuniga6412 2. ) Most of the admixture that's in the black community is coming from whites and the Blacks that DO have Native blood... most of that came from the whites that had native in them that mixed with Blacks through either rape or consent( most of it was through rape from back in the day )

  • @zuniga6412 3. ) Most of the native that is in some blacks didn't come from one of their black ancestors sleeping with a Native American it came from having sex ( being raped ) by a white person that had Native in them. And of the Blacks that DO have Native in them it is only 1 in every 20 Blacks that have significant amounts of Native.

  • @zuniga6412 4. ) There was a small portion of Native men that had sex with slave women YES, but of that small percent most of it WASN'T consensual . Back in the day Natives got a reward for bringing escaped slaves back to the master, of the females that were captured, there was a portion who were first captured and then raped by the native then brought back to ol Massa .

  • @BiracialGirl1977 Do you consider yourself to be a black person?

  • @zuniga6412 5. ) When the Massa would ask a native to find a escaped female slave, him being allowed to rape her ( or have his way with her ) was some times part of the deal for bringing her back also along with booze and other things. Look it up. Natives didn't like Blacks as much as Black people think they did .

  • @zuniga6412 6. ) How the rumor " a lot of Black people got Native in them " got started was back in the day it could get you killed for a slave or even an ex slave to say they were part white so in order for a lot of the mixed people to explain why their phenotypes were different than a lot of the full Black people they would say they had native instead of white in them .

  • @zuniga6412 7. ) And then there were some that even if it wouldn't have gotten them killed they still would of said they were mixed with something other than white because they knew that the white Blood got there through rape so rather then admit to someone in their family being raped by someone white they would lie and say they were part Native to explain their mixed features

  • @zuniga6412 8. ) If you dont believe me, research it . You will find out.

  • i am mixed. i am not black and not white. i am very upset with stupid white and black people saying we mixed are black we are mixed that's it end of story. And please i ask to all of those mixed people who like to be considered black, please dont do that. we need our nation because we are special we are the future of humanity. By Laton a Portuguese boy mixed. we need to control the world finance and make the rest of races our employees.

  • STFU you gorilla face cunt ape!

  • @rvggarcon your mother

  • Oh nooo the scary ass word nigger makes a scaaaary comeback. I thought they buried that scaaaary ass shit.

  • Fucking ugly black woman..ugly hair, ugly nose...such big mouth......

  • @whitehispanish Did you look in mirror when typing this

  • Ain't no such thing as bi racial...damn dummies....you are what your father is....and his father...the man holds the seed...the female & male sperm...The soil and its different shades are symbolic to the woman and the seeds are symbolic to the man...

  • I am black and have a dauhter with a white man...my daughter is "italien" brown skinned and has blonde brown, totally straight hair. How 'bout that?

  • @cdub153340 You care enough to comment.

  • So you bred with a white man so that you can have a daughter that isn't dark with nappy hair like you.

Seems pretty common for whores if you ask me.

  • @Learner012

Ooooh yall are so damn ignorant!!

And they wonder why the Holocaust

    happened.

  • oh wow thats deep

  • If a person has one white parent & one black parent, that person are biracial, and would still be 50% black & 50% white.

If you really want to get technical, race is a social construct, not biological. Any scientist will tell you this. Sometimes, two people of the same "race" are more genetically diverse than two people of different "races."

Plus, there are plenty of indigenous Africans with hair just as silky as any white person's hair.

I'm so dumb, I have a degree in biology.

  • @Learner012 I guess you would know what is common for whores. Your mother is one.

  • Oh, wow your mom is black? How did the man forget your mom was black?

  • jb6591 u r so right u make every african proud .

  • Afro hair is also beautiful .

  • i like your eyebrows.

  • Many of the people of San in Africa and the aboriginal !Kung have light skin, brown eyes, and red curly hair. Oh, they must be mixed because they're not dark like most Nigerians, right? Think about it. If all black people looked the same, there would be no genetic variation. All people are from one mitochondrial eve located in the horn of Africa. If no black people had blue eyes, nobody would have them in any race.

  • @22anavdb u wana lesson on RACE?

  • @Biracialgirl Have you seen the Bushmen of Namibia? People in Eritrea, Somalia? The Tootsies? The people of Ashanti? Some of these people are way more "black" than the majority of African Americans and they are much lighter than "Biracial Tiffany" and much silkier hair. Educate yourselves. All black people do not look like Sambo.

  • @ 22anavdb PART: 1 And being biracial has nothing to do with the way you look. You could be black as coal and be Biracial or white as a Q-tip and still be biracial. Being "Biracial" has nothing to do with how light or dark you are and everything to do with DIRECT admixture. Biracial = One parent being of one race and the other being of a compleatly different race coming together and having offspring.

  • @BiracialGirl1977 is you crazy? a mulatto cannot be black as coal, you can be very dark, but still it will be in-between shade of your parents

  • Oh yes. The people of the Caucasus Mountains from which the term "Caucasian" derives are white. Look at where the mountain range is. It's nowhere near Africa. People in East Africa are mixed with what is considered people of Middle Eastern descent, or "Arab" (although Arab is a culture and not a race), but they do NOT look like that because they are part white. How you gon' try to check me and you don't even know what you're talking about? Get an education.

  • Final point: Ask one from there if they consider THEMSELVES black. One of my best friends is from Ethiopia, and he constantly reminds me that I am a "cotton picker" and he is more black than I.

  • and although he is from Ethiopia, he is much, MUCH darker than me and everyone in my entire family. Wait, he's mixed, so shouldn't he be lighter? Or does the fact that he is darker than a "black" girl mean that he is black, too? Riddle me that, oh biogeography expert.

  • @Rockstafeller Come on now, I was just making a point that being Mulatto/Biracial isn't really about skin color and it having everything to do with direct admixture. Basically what i was saying is if one of your parents is White and one is Black regardless of how light or dark you came out.. "skin color" doesn't take the fact away that you are still Biracial/Mulatto in the truest meaning of that term. Duhhhhh LOL.

  • @Rockstafeller You ever heard of sarcasm? I know that mulattoes can't be as black as tar i was using that to prove my point that being a Mulatto isnt about the color of ones skin, really. You have white looking mulattoes, in between looking mulattoes and you have mulattoes that dont really look mixed at all. Maybe i should of written a disclaimer OMG

  • @BiracialGirl1977 and there are also latina girls who look "black." One of my best friends is half latina and half black. Ask her if she is black, she says yes. Ask her if latina, she says yes. Not "I'm neither because I'm both." It seems that trying to distance yourself from being black is only on the minds of the biracial people who are half black and half white. I don't really care though. I've said my peace on this blog. Now leave me be.

  • @22anavdb 1. ) ( one message split into 7 parts ) OK yeah i know there are black Latina's duh, but you never assume they are Hispanic until they start speaking Spanish the same thing with white Latinos you never assume they are Latina ( o) until they speak Spanish because they aren't fitting the stereotype of what a lot of Americans think Hispanic looks like.

  • @22anavdb 2. ) So people do not assume I'm Spanish cause they over heard me speaking Spanish ( I dont speak Spanish ) they are saying that cause to them Hispanic has a certain look that doesn't look black or white and to them i fit the bill. And just because i identify as Biracial ( ALLLL of what i am by the way instead of only half ) doesn't mean i want to distance myself from Black people

  • @22anavdb 3. But yet its ok to distance myself from White people by identifying myself as only Black and not biracial !! Double standard much? My identifying as Biracial clearly states that i embrace everything. I'm sorry that you feel like I'm distancing myself away from Black people by choosing a Biracial identity instead of a Black one I'm sure My black husband of 14 years doesn't thinks so.

  • @22anavdb 4. ) You sound paranoid or something. Whats wrong you afraid that if Biracial people keep on asserting their identity enough that we will finally be heard and given our own category huh ? So is that why you try and silence assertion of a Biracial identity and belittle and condemn any Biracial person that takes a stand and refuses to be silenced ?.

  • @22anavdb 5. ) Or Maybe you're afraid that will escape so-called Blackness and not take you along for the ride LOL is that what scares the shit out of you ? ( As if that's what we're really trying to do. yeah right. LOL ) Maybe you're afraid we will leave the Black race and take some Black numbers with us ?

  • @22anavdb 6. ) Or how bout all those Biracial achievements that only Black people are given credit for maybe you're afraid you wont have our achievements to claim anymore maybe that scares you ? oh, yeah, Barack Obama, that's OUR DAMN ACHIEVEMENT I dont care what he wants to call himself or what anyone else wants to call him . I see truth not 50% of it. And you cant argue with me or try and debate me about that one my views on that will NEVER CHANGE so you'd be wasting your time.

  • @BiracialGirl1977 Nobody is belittling you. If you're think you're gonna escape blackness honey you're crazy. Have you not been in the work force? Not all white people are racist, but there are a lot more of them in the world than you realize. If you think the average white person will put you in a separate category then you're on something. These are their rules, not mine. Why? There are plenty of black people that are just as light if not lighter than you.

  • @22anavdb I didn't say i thought that, i said maybe you thought that. You seem paranoid as if were trying to escape Black people and that Black peoples are our captures or something

  • @BiracialGirl1977 See, that's your problem right there. Ask Barack Obama his race and he will say BLACK. Not biracial, and that is his choice. If you wanna parade around thinking you are a member of some new race because you are a mixture of two, go right ahead. You won't be leaving "us" behind. You'll be leaving behind the plight and legacy of other people who were biracial before you who shared their struggle with black people b/c they understand they are seen by whites as black.

  • @BiracialGirl1977 and let's not get it twisted...Interracial marriage was illegal until 1967 in this country. Who do you think made that law? Black folks? No. There is a reason I knew u had a white momma. Over 90% of biracial kids have black fathers. Why? Black men were bread to think white was better. White men systematically did that to their slaves to separate us and to breed biracial children so they could treat them differently to keep us from rising up (Jubliee! by National Geographic)

  • @22anavdb 7. ) All these things i just said about you may or may not be true about the way you really feel but when you come at biracial people like this what the hell are we suppose to think ? when you or any Black person comes at us like this you start looking hella paranoid then that's when we biracial's start contemplating on what you could be so damn paranoid about

  • @BiracialGirl1977 So you can run around thinking you're so different than black people. What you don't understand is that biracial people have historically been a separating mechanism used by whites to divide us. It's sad that the slave mentality has had such a lasting effect on our race. THAT is the ONLY thing that saddens or scares me or causes me any sense of paranoia. I could care less that you're mixed. Obama's win IS our victory. He would agree and that's all that counts to me.

  • @22anavdb No Obama is OUR victory we just have to share it with you cause of the stupid ignorant " one drop rule " that's been ingrained into the very fabric of America. If it wasn't for the " One drop rule " Biracial/Mulattoes achievements would be our own and Black achievement would be exactly that. " Black Achievements. "

  • @BiracialGirl1977 Obama is our victory because HE says it's a black victory. You can't put a label on him he choses not to identify with. Again I say, white folks made up the one drop rule. 50% is a lot more than one drop. Stop writing me. You're glib and ignorant. I'm glad your husband is black. That way your kids won't have to do mental gymnastics trying to put themselves in a box like you. You can write back but I won't respond. Get help or an education, please.

  • @BiracialGirl1977 Further, what about your fellow "biracials" who don't look biracial at all? Just like you said. Some of y'all are dark as hell. Not that there's anything wrong with that, because black is beautiful. Then again, I've seen biracial people outcast their "own" because they have kinky hair and dark skin.

  • @22anavdb Those Biracial people are stupid. Being Biracial isn't about what phenotype you most closely resemble it's about Direct admixture no matter what you look like.
