  • A drop-kick and punt of a song. Sorry to have to add that Paul looks like he's been jamming with the Bay City Rollers. (Don't go there).

  • John said he liked this one.

  • The lead guitarist here, Jimmy McCulloch was quite the whiz kid. Here he is after spending time in Thunderclap Newman with Pete Townshend, only a few years later in his early 20s playing lead for a Beatle in a band with former Moody Blues writer/ guitarist Denny Laine. Jimmy wrote and played many guitar solos in Wings and few people can copy them well. Songs like this, Maybe I'm Amazed, Jet,& more. And jimmy wrote and sang 2 songs in wings albums. (Wino Junki and Medicine Jar with Paul himsel

  • Is the bass guitar hard 2 play?

  • ....And the newbees are comparing Justin Bieber to Paul....(ROTFLMAO) When Paul performs in the U.S., Justin better be out of this country to perform...Justin being in the same country is an insult to Paul.

  • @brian1963110 Naw, He needs to be out of the country at those time to keep from being trampled by people making their way to see PAUL!! LMAO!!

  • @brian1963110 Also I remember working Concert security in Mountain view, Calif while working for Bill Graham. I was working the new GEEKS on the block and some teen girls walked by saying "Their bigger than the Beatles!" I burst out laughing and they looked at me and said "Your words will NEVER catch fire, think about it!" They just said Your old, you don't know nothing about music! Then I laughed and said "That's why I'm doing THIS job and not you!" Lol

  • Anybody know what kind of bass Paul is playing?

  • @NYhomewrecker It's a Kay bass from the 1960's. He didn't use it much except for this brief period with Wings.

    Linda Louise McCartney

    1941-1998

  • @babyimawantyou True, and if humans lived 300 years she and Paul would be married that entire time.

  • Has a Steve Miller vibe.

  • @dumbangel75 Everytime, I watch a Steve Miller music video. one topic I see people talk about. Getting high!

  • All'epoca Paul sembrava voler fare concorrenza ai Middle of the Road.

  • @Perfidia4ever secondo me il muzak arriva dopo, dopo il live WINGS AT THE SPEED OF SOUND, perche' guarda che BAND ON THE RUN (1973) fu veramente un bel lavoro

  • denny laine is in my ears and in my eyes....take down jimmy

  • wish I had that Silvertone bass and he had a feather we would both be tickled

  • I guess 6 people didn't want to go down to Junior's Farm....sounds like place!

  • @codeorangeXC Right, and Junior's Farm is a better place without them. :)

  • This is great; how was I never a fan of Linda?

  • C'était mes 17 ans- Chanson pas très connue mais super belle !!!

  • Love to see John with Linda and Paul and Wings....... Nice.

  • Ich 14 bin, dieses song gibt mir Küsse jedesmal.

  • I would have to imagine that Paul misses Linda these days. They were the best Rock and Roll marriage, you know. Nice tune, by the way.

  • This is one of the best pseudo Heavy metal songs

  • Macca is definitely the best Beatle

  • Oh Paul! You always make music amazing! Love this song.

  • Take me down, Jimmy!!!!!

  • I know a junior! and he does own a farm!!! XD My Grandfather is the second generation of 4 (I'm the 4th :D) xD

  • it reminds me of Get Back....but better! take me down, Jimmy

  • We want Junior´s Farm here in Brazil!Soon please Dear Paul!

  • what's underrated is ur belief in me

  • One of the greatest bands ever. McCartney no doubt the foundation but WINGS was a great group of musicians and turned out some incredible tunes!

  • Jimmy McCulloch, talk about underrated

  • What bass was Paul using?

  • Written about Junior's Farm (among other things) in Lebanon TN. where they stayed while visiting Nashville TN. Also wrote Sally G. there too.

  • Great music!

  • His hair! His hair! It's hard for him to not be awesome with that killer hair!

  • i'm not hnappy with Paul's slap at pres Nixon but what the hell

  • MY FAVORITE WINGS SONG !!! BEST ONE OF THEM ALL !!!

  • una de las rolas que más me gustan del Genio McCartney

  • And by "our age" I mean us younger people, just in case that didn't come across.

  • what the hell kind of guitar is paul playing.....it sure ain't the hoffner

  • @inkey2 It's a Kay guitar

  • Very glam.

  • Does anyone really even remember "Juniors Farm"????40 yrs and up please only respond..I am so tired of the 20' something thinking they can even relate to this song...................................

  • @JennaP46 I'm 18 and I probably enjoy Paul McCartney's music more than you love your inbreed kids, Do the world a favor and fuck off.

  • @ryan2151993 ...A very intelligent response....

  • @JennaP46 i remember this song well....I had it on a 45rpm record and "Sally G" was on the other side. I just can't remember which was the "A" side song.......do you know?

  • @JennaP46 Im not 20, im 15. but I sure as hell can relate to this song cause I saw him in concert row 1[: it was just as good as it was 40 years ago. :D i <3 Paul McCartney.

  • @Hockeyplaya4567890 row 1? you have been lucky! if I was there I would have died of happiness

  • @Hockeyplaya4567890 How impressive ,Ha,Ha

  • @JennaP46 Let's just be thankful people our age can relate to music from this era, shall we? Stop trying to kill rock and roll, please.

  • So frickin' awesome to see Lovely Linda McCartney here! Sure do miss you Linda. We'll always love ya!

  • I suprised more of you dont know more about this song and the musicians who played on it. Start with the the guitarist..GO

  • the song is not underrated...people are overrated

  • splan urself,Lucy!

  • age is inmatterial

  • Awww omg Paul still had that cute little baby face when he was... well I don't know how old he is here but still, he's so adorable ahaha

  • @chookieJS  hes 69(;

  • @Hockeyplaya4567890 Ahaha I know but I didn't know how old he was when he sang this ahahah

  • I actually like Paul's Wings era better than his time in the Beatles. Wings is a legendary band! Epic epic on many many many levels.

  • @lancetop hmmmmm. Interesting...not many people would say that. I myself will always prefer Paul's Beatle material, just because that band broke SO much ground in so little time, but it's only my opinion. But I also love Wings, don't get me wrong...but I think that you're opinion is interesting..I don't see too many people who prefer Wings over the Beatles. Or most people like them the same...very cool...very cool

  • @drummerboyjac I like the beatles more than wings, but I prefer pauls wings stuff (wich is basically 99% of wings) over pauls beatle stuff, and pauls whole solo career over the beatles by far.

  • @lancetop That's how my mom is lol

  • TAKE ME DOWN JIMMY...

  • Lets go lets go lets go!

  • this video is 4:20 mins long. [:

  • aside from all that gov't shit...lets get back to why we clicked play. Underrated song, but its one of my fav's..brings me back to my childhood my dad would play this on cassette. Thank god he played this music in my adolesence or i would probably listen to lil wayne.

  • When government controls near 50% of The Peoples money, how long u gonna wait to call it what it is,CONTROL of The People,That's Socialism!

  • Raising Taxes in order for the government to control us,is "Socialism"

  • truly the most under appreciated wings song. nonsensical words but a good pumping rock song. thanks for posting this video.

  • Thank god this vids up, the version of wingspan is shortened

  • Always so awesome to see Linda on stage with Paul. He adored her:) It must have been heaven for Paul, to have her on stage with him:)

  • que lindo que eeeeeeeeeeees por deooooooos

  • linda looks great

  • although it's treated for this song..PAUL McCARTNEY, had a great voice..

  • what kind of bass is Paul using?

  • @JohnLennon813

I think it is a Kay brand bass guitar.

  • Paul, you were, are, and will forever be amazing.

  • @SaturnTrack most sucessful songwriter of the 20th century. now thats amazing!!!!!!!

  • yeah Chicago 7/31 was great amazing show, heading to vegas to go see LOVE for the fouth time...

  • Caught Paul's concert in Detroit's Comerica Park In July 2011. The BEST concert I'll ever hope to see! Rock on forever Paul!

  • Heard thisat Wrigley Field in Chicago on 7/31/11. UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME!!

  • Love this tune. Brings back great memories....Denny Laine jams on this number. His contribution to the "Moody Blues" was very underrated.

  • IM SEEIN HIM TONIGHT!!!

  • @gsjonny have fun :) let me know how it is :)

  • I forgot how great Paul and the Wings were back in the day. Haven't heard this in years. It's insane to think Lennon was even close to Paul in the post Beatle era. Even George made better music then John.

  • Paul is one of our last living genious'. I saw him at Yankee stadium a few weeks ago.

He is god like! And was right one time.. one of the best shows i've seen yet.

    thanks Paul!

  • It is in his set list... well he played in both nights in Yankee Stadium and Montréal

  • I had this 45 as a kid, played it to death. I think it's in his setlist these days...

  • @KOSMICKEN09 Indeed it is!! He plays it now. I will hear it on Sunday at his concert. Can't wait!

  • @PhoeFira I'll be at that concert too!!!!!!!!! It's going to be amazing

  • @HEYtheresMOLLY Really?! In Chicago? AWESOME. :D

  • when i was a kid i used to jam to this song all the time when it came on the radio! now im 20 and i still jam to it!!! PAUL YOU ROCK AND ALWAYS WILL!!!

  • I haven't heard this song in years.

  • tAKE. mE BACK

  • This song to me is truly underated, its got such a great groove!

  • @edelenwolf69 who underrated it?

  • @edelenwolf69 AMEN to that! I visit this vid from time to time and couldn't agree with you more. I was in 2nd grade when this song cam out and I loved it just as I do now. A very underrated classic from a very underrated band. This song has it all. Good vocals, harmonies, drums, keys, rhythm and blistering lead, and killer bass. This is what ROCK n' ROLL is supposed to be. 10/10 ROCK ON!!!

  • @GNFAN1987 I like th eflip side Sally G recorded in Nasville as well

  • @GNFAN1987 Damn RIGHT!!!!

  • exciting 3:57

  • The WINGS era was my favorite for McCartney, post Beatles.Someone needs to put out the Rockshow video on DVD. Whats up with that?

  • Paul's bass is a Kay-- you can see the distinctive headstock around 2:30. The model 162 was a single cut, but Paul's is a double so I'm not sure of the model number.

  • @JPWiletts

this is Kay Jazz II bass

  • HEY NOW!!!

  • por su cumpleaños de paul pasare puros videos de el jajaja

  • "Take me down, Jimmy"

One of THE best guitar players there ever was.

McCartney was lucky to ever have had him.

  • 3 people don't like Jimmy or Farms =(

  • "I had a honey and I bet a grand. Just in the nick of time I looked..."

    Great song from the 70's!

  • What make of bass is paul playing in this video? Looks custom made...never seen one of these before.

  • @yernuts I was just wondering the same...

  • I have the Wingspan Hits and History cd with this song on it, but I wonder why that whole middle section was cut out of the song on the cd....

  • @fruitsbasketsomah10 The version found on 'Wingspan' is a radio edit that was used when 'Junior's Farm' was released due to time constraints. In the 60s and 70s it was customary practice for radio stations to play singles under 3 minutes (or slightly over). That's why the verse sung in this full version isn't present on the Wingspan CD. If you can locate a copy of "Wings Greatest" that has the full version on it as well. "All The Best" (1987) also has 'Junior's Farm' on it

  • @MiddSouthFootball09 oh alright, thanks. (: I'm going to go and find those CD's now! I absolutely love this song! and yeah I just got McCartney II and I noticed that Waterfalls has another verse as well. :P

  • Always loved this Song .....

    Brings me back :)

  • Who's this Jimmy that's playing most of the lead? I like it.

  • @jackstpaul Jimmy McCulloch.

  • @JimmyMcCullochFan what did he die from?

  • @hotmn4u I didn't realize he was dead either until I was loooking up old McCartney songs online the other day and decided to see what the former members of Wings were doing these days....he died back in September of 1979 from heart failure due to a heroin overdose....he was only 26...WOW!! He was a good guitarist though!

  • @hotmn4u heroin overdose

  • This is one of the best Wings clips I've seen. Paul, Denny (ex Moody Blues frontman and a good songwriter himself) and Jimmy (great guitarist, sadly missed) were a good lineup albeit all too shortlived and this track rocks along very nicely indeed. The lovely and much lamented Linda looked like she was enjoying herself too.

  • aws oh, love him

  • Paul is the only man I know who looks great in a mullet. SEXY!!!!!!

  • This song is from 1974 but I heard at 1975

  • Pau's got that effortless classic rock sound that's so hard to create ... I guess it's because of the stuff he listened to when he was young.

  • I think this is one of the more under rated rock songs of the 70's. It's got an awful lot of feeling in it. And some awesome guitar.

  • There's Paul with his NEW Wings band.

  • One person must have stole Junior's horse!

  • Well, this awesome song clocks in @ 4:20. Yeaaah, That' RIGHT!

  • Paul was hitting on all cylinders at this time. Another great song that has more than stood the test of time.

  • Best song by Sir Paul!!

  • 100,000

  • I like paul's bass, he didn't play often with this one
