I used to watch dorf all the time and i wish all of his eppisodes were on here because i cant find any of them around any more and i dont have my vhs movies anymore
Oh my God, I had the VHS for this WAY WAY WAY long ago, I remember watching it nearly every day for a long time when I was a child. Talk about a massive nostalgia rush, thanks for uploading!
Random thought, but I just realized that the first guy they showed at the start who threw his hat reminds me of the guy who played Stan on the Golden Girls.
Yes, I know. But what can I say? It has almost the same kind of humor as Dorf.
My grandparents used to have this on an old recording tape. I used to watch it all the time because I remember Tim Conway from the Carol Bernett Show, which I also loved to watch. Tim Conway always cracks me up!
I have no clue what happened to the tape, so I'm not able to watch it anymore until now. Thanks for the upload!
Its Mister Tudbal!!! Where's ah Missus ah Whiggins?
I saw Tim live when he was guest starring on Coach in 1996. As the cast walked out on the stage he was one of the last to enter. I recognized him and shouted "Hey Tim" and waved. He actually looked suprised that somebody recognized him. This was the last of 3 shows they taped with him but none had been broadcast yet. After they aired, his career seemed to have a rebirth.
Most times when doing this type of gag the actor is on his knees with his upper legs slid into some shoes with the backs cut out and strapped behind his legs. But for the sit up thing it has completely baffled me unless he is more flexible then we all thought.
To the haters....gotta remember, this was made when everything was slower paced. Humor was presented slower, dramatics were built up slower. Now, the pace is much faster...it takes a constant barrage of stimuli for our shortened attention spans. Watch a Marx Brothers comedy, or a feature-length Laurel and Hardy film to see what I mean. I love all those guys but so many today think they're not funny due to the changed pace. When actually, it was the best ever made - those comedians back then.
omg.. i can't believe I came across this. I remember I had this on VHS as a child for some reason and watched it many times. Seeing in now brings back good memories.
i understand golf is a serious sport because i play it. we know and tim knows that people dont use an elbow brace...but you have to admit there are so many devices to help you pracetice that it gets a little ridiculous. he's just making a satirical observation.
He was also in Fast Times at Ridgemont High with Sean Penn as the science teacher and waaay before that in One Flew Over The Cockoo's Nest with Jack Nicholsen as a mentally ill patient.
That's the first I've heard of his passing; man that really sucks.
I've gotta admit, this is the first time I like the dubbed version more than the original voices. In the German version (the golf shorts get shown every year around xmas on tv) Dorf sounds a good bit more grumpy, still really cool to see how the jokes were intended.
Oh I love Tim Conway's Dorf character - although my personal (well actually, its my boyfriend's favourite - but I think its funny as well) is the "Dorf Goes Fishing".
lol i finally get Chandler's joke out of friends
