the protege' has become my everyday device , i also bring along a KR808D-1 (Nebula , Vaporking) to swap out flavors during the day.

I'm debating whether to get this or the passthrough. whichever one i pick, i plan on using at home, mostly in front of my computer. but is there much vapor/throat hit/flavor difference between the two?

Well , yeah the Passthrough is a 5v device so it will usually , depending on what atty you use... will give you bigger vapor , bigger throat hit.

Mine's almost here... should be arriving this week if it gets through Canadian customs! Can't wait to try it! I really enjoy vaping at 3.7 volts, and this thing is the perfect size with the perfect power source for me! Great initial review Grimm!

Great first impression vid, you hit the great points of this great device. Radically small, really well made and with a 510 aty attached, an almost perfect vape!

I really like the switch and multi-adaptor design of PS's devices. I make my own mods but I'm really tempted to get one of those specifically for a 510 which I've just started using since they run really well on 3.7v unlike 901's, for me anyway.

There was a lot of hype leading up to this and shady business practices, that's why I'm kindly asking Grimm to try his best to keep an open mind.

myself i hvae been holding out on getting a mod, my kr808d1 already delivers great, compared to my 901, and i already sold my 510 cheap to a buddy. lol but ever since my brother picked up vaping my supply of fresh cartomizers has turned into a huge pile of used cartos, at least the house doesnt smell like smoke anymore

after I posted I read you got for review free of charge , I just got myself the Adaptever and I'm loving it , and I have all the adpaters and different voltage sleeves in the mail can't wait to try out the 901 - 801 atomizers on it I find the 510 just isn't really a good atomizer for flavor compared to the above . Vape On!!!!!!

Why the heck did you get the protege ?? you already have a 3.7v the SD , Should have got the Prodigy

puresmoker (dot) com sells the Protege' , i also have an SD (with a dying switch) and i like both of the devices. The advantage of the protege' is that you can purchase adapters to work with different atomizers , where as the SD is made to work with a 901 only.

I had steve weigh them but im still not convinced that the prodigy is heavier lol... but that thing is the only device i own that i think could double as a weapon. Its Uber Solid lol... i still have yet to realy push it to a dead battery i always break down and just toss a new one in lol
