  • Viejo qlo, trata como el hoyo el pobre teclado nuevo !

  • M-audio, akai lpk25, or korg microkey?

  • hey I've already using my own home studio, and I'm thinking about getting this for a friend who is barely starting out with GarageBand and he does kind of folk-y music with the GarageBand patches, would this be a good idea for him?

  • would it be wise to pick up an interface with this if im using it with fl studio?

  • look at all the nice electronics behind him...you think he really uses that cheap midi board?

  • Does it work in FL, Cubase and Ableton?

  • Can you please, please help me? i tried to change the velocity of my keys and now the Oct + & - is not working. i have tried "edit"\0-9\Enter and no resluts. thank you!

  • Can you plug it into a rack mount synthesizer? Like the motif for example?

  • @demodeiowa yea I have mine rigged up to one.

  • You can connect it to a MacBook Pro

  • I know this sounds like a stupid question but... Are u able to use this with a mac book pro??

  • @THEDJPREM Yup, just plug it in and it works with pretty much anything that accepts MIDI :)

  • Akai mini** vs M-audio 32 ???

  • @Dimelo23 akai allday as far as something this small, plus akai is cheaper

  • Akai mijo or this one .. Anyone tried them and could tell me which one feels better

  • does it come with software to programme the keys when using with software like cubase?

  • I have several bigger keyboards and lots of other equipment and I don't have any interest in buying Keystation MINI, but I watched this because your reviews are excellent. And I don't think I am not the only one doing this...

  • Can i switch this keyboard with macbook and use on Logic?

  • @mujenek Yeah, that's what I'm running and it's works fine. Just plug it in and play :D

  • Looking to get this for my next portable MIDI... 32 keys looks like it is just enough for two handed playing......

  • Another product for an itinerant or those who like to get a basic bare bones template done so they can add to it later in Studio. Oh wait, I forgot that songs today ARE bare bones Templates! Many like to give it a fustian label like 'Minimalistic' or 'IDM' to compensate for the lack of composition! But it's just a fancy wrapper for mediocrity! It's no wonder labels have stopped taking demos now that people make so called music with little toys as useless as this! WOW Touch-V? Really?!!!! No Way!

  • Hey I was wondering if I can also use this like a MPC, and what genres I can play with it. Can I also make Hip Hop and Experimental beats with it? And last: What do you recommend for my use, M-Audio Keystation 32 or Korg Nanokey 2?

I hope someone can help me!!! Thanks

  • Looks like a good companion for my iPad...

  • looks to cheap and small for me.

Do have a tip for a Midi controller about 150-200€

Have the LPD8 and the LPK25 and I#m looking for somthing more professional...

    ...good review thru :D

  • hey thanks for the review, i think i'm going to switch from nanokey to this one... Questions: is the sustainkey only a toggle switch, or can you change it to momentary?

    is there an editor software?

can you assign midimessages to the pianokeys?

  • Great review! As always.

  • Nick, the fact that you're from DNA blows my mind. My elder brother bought the Tom's Diner and La Serenissima remixes on vinyl about two decades ago and they left a huge impression on me. Those tunes, along with 808 State's In Yer Face, Utah Saint's Something Good and KLF's 3am Eternal formed the soundtrack of my childhood (I'm 29 now). Just wanted you to know that you've got a big fan from Singapore.

  • wow, now they make flexible midi keyboards!!! i want one!

  • Are the pitch bend and mod buttons pressure-sensitive?

  • @Desmaad No I dont think they are.

  • Can you guys review the Impulse keyboards from novation??? I really want to hear your professional opinion on them - I was going to buy the Axiom but then the impulse comes out and they seem very similar...

  • does it work with ipod

  • only problem i see is the size, a bit bigger than the other small keyboards...at first you would think it's not such a big deal but then try fitting it in a laptop bag, or worse for the ipad users... seems like you'd just have to lug it around

  • @sonicase exactly what i was thinking, jog wheel and two octaves would be it..

  • Are you THE Nick Batt from DNA?

  • @syafiig He is.

  • @syafiig according to wikipedia he's the same bloke.

  • I was about to go to bed, but then THIS arrives. Stop taking away my sleep with your great reviews!!

  • Great review Nick!

Ive been put off M-Audio since my v1 Oxygen 8 spazzed out many moons ago! Use a Akai Mpk mini now with my laptop but I would consider this for iPad use - Thanks!
