Sorry, Abbott is good, but she is no Cat Osterman. Cat was the most dominant pitcher in NCAA history. Abbott may have broken Cat's strikeout record, but she pitched so many more innings that she virtually had over a whole extra season to do it. Abbott pitched 343 innings more that Cat. Cat never even pitched 343 innings in a season! Just think, if Cat had pitched 1448 innings like Abbott, instead of only 1105, Cat would have nearly 3,000 strikeouts. That's a fact.
