If I had a moral crisis for every time I played the music of a known pedophile (Tchaikovsky and Bernstein) or racist (Wagner) or drug addict (almost everyone else) I would play no music at all. Being a musician is not an endorsement of anyone's political views. It is a job. These are excellent musicians. That's all.

Lori is as far as i know not only an accent but a language type. The music and the rhytm of this song is similiar to the afghan musics and their language [Dari]. I dunno about lorestan music but i always thouth lori is similiar to kordi.

If you think that way than Dari is also a gooyesh since you could easily understand almost everything they say. You have to take in account they are related to the Farsi language no doubt but they have their own language type and alot of words are beeing used which is not beeing used in farsi aswell as i other regions in Iran they are all Persians of course but they have their own language forms or Dialekts.

if i remember correctly she moved from iran to india when she was very young. she probably learned english these and didn't practice farsi enough and so has an accent. i wouldn't know for sure of course.
