I was watching his footwork. I noticed he steps with the lead leg on the ball of the foot. Generally I like to step heel to toe on my jab. Any ideas on benefits of the two?

stepping with the ball of his foot makes his legs faster and less easier to read, also less jerk in the movement. heel to toe could potentially leave you off balance as you need to raise the foot. my own personal insights
