@PimpingRice Now, I never said who is to date who. I did say I would never date an atheist. Technically, I am agnostic-atheist, due to my lack of a belief system, so I probably should have clarified. Typically helps if people date within their respective belief systems, to avoid conflicting opinions over the matter- BUT people can do what they want. Not narrow minded. Want to know narrow-minded? You compared not dating due to beliefs to not dating within skin color- you're a fuckin' racist. :)

And you do know that there is such a thing as being racist through use of analogies, right? Point is this: you cannot compare the two situations. One is skin color (which only conflict if society dictates) and one is belief systems ( which naturally conflict). Do you understand now? It will slowly register with you I am sure.

Well first thing kid, if you knew what an analogy is then you would've know the secular sense of both argument, in which you failed to understand, therefore you clearly provided evidence that you don't clearly understand what the word means. And no, you can't be racist using analogy, that's illogical. Real point is that the subject of "dating" is differentiated into many aspects which is similar, but in this argument it is 2 aspects, beliefs and skin color.

(Deuteronomy 22:23-24) 2 Chronicles 15:13 "That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
There's plenty of other "good moral values" in there, especially in Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Numbers is good too.

Being an atheist means you have no belief in a God. It doesn't mean that all the moral values your parents instilled in you as children get thrown by the wayside because you do not believe God exist. You're still taught right and wrong and know the difference between them even though they're fundamently based in religion.

Atheism is a minor issue that relationship couples should focus on less. If your male counterpart hasn't attacked your religious faith earlier in the relationship more than likely it never become an issue later in the marriage except for champagne table talk. Whatever happened to a good debate in a relationship between opposing views? If everyone was a like 100% I guarantee what a bore the world would be!
