I hated my school experience as a kid. I attended schools in the Clark County School System in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I feel as if I were sh** on by teachers, and by the whole system over all. What a horrid feel to have a carry over of all that into adulthood. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT PUBLIC SHOOOLS!!

Experience teachers can make it very hard or very easy for new teachers. I my case, very hard. I my first year of teaching I agreed to teach three subjects, reading, language art, and social studies at the elementary level. However, the principal decided to tack other subjects on me because my two co-teachers refused to take on extra work loads. Each of them only taught one subject all day to about sixty students, while I taught about five to the same students. I feel like a failure.

bot hof my parents had issues, and they let them through without special ed. People naturally fall. I guess I followed in their footsteps. Nobody cares about special ed people, trust me. It's best to just get rid of us as fast as possible.

Special Ed. gives an equal opportunity to students who have special needs that can not be met in a reg. classroom. It's nothing like segregation. It's often paired with partial inclusion in the reg. classroom. The goal is not to seperate students with special needs from students without.

How would you like anyone to say to you "I hate you because you are disabled and I won't hire or rent to you because you are disabled"? This is the reason I'm against the existance of special education as it is no more justified than separate public schools in the 1940's for black and white students.

This is crap.  Teachers don't shape kids, parents, peers and media shape kids. How do I know? I taught for 3 years and quit because I couldn't get up in the morning anymore.
