I went to this National Youth Gathering where 25,000 Christian youth all came together from all around the U.S. and one of the speakers that came to talk to us was Makenzie's mother. She talked about her story and it was very heart touching to here, im pretty sure everybody cried. & since that day I've been praying for her and her family

Even though I never met her I miss her. Her family moved to Minnesota after she died and now her little sister Maddy goes to my school. Maddy cries almost every day - she misses her big sister so much. Makenzie was a great person. :)

She is a great person and she is watching her whole family and all her friends heal trough the process. She is up there choreographing a dance for everyone when they go to heaven.

@h2o577 maddy used to go to my school and was a grade of ahead of me we went to a few concerts together and she is a great pespon and so was her whole family it's just soo sad that her sister had to leave but god knew that makenzie was ready to go to heaven so he took her in

What is most unfortunate is that after her parents had forgiven the young driver of the car, they are now pressing charges against him, when it was all a accident involving no drugs or alcohol. It's a shame.

I have spoken to the parents and they are not charging him the pasadena police department and the district attorney are. The parents otherwise do not know any details. So that is a rumor and is not true.

Oh it's just that his attorney said that her parents could have prevented the charges from getting pushed through...yet they didn't.

I talked to them and they do not even know the details of the charges. They did not charge him and were not going to charge him because it was an accident.

This is such a sad story. Read about it on some local Houston news and it broke my heart. I instantly went to hug my kids. Why is life so unfair?

There was no accident taken place on Bay Area and Red Bluff just God opening his loving arms welcoming Makenzie into heaven with him. You will always be in our hearts and always have a place at LSA.

Such a Beautiful Little Girl! My prayers go out to all that know Her! This truley is a big loss for everyone! From what I've read, She was always thinking about others, and God!
