this is the best speed run of the 1st sonic because its the only 1 handed because its so old and not a game of speed running, quite a few mistakes anyway if it was 19 mins how come theres 4 vids?

It was 19 minutes of total gameplay time. The amount of time it takes to clear each stage (indicated by the timer on the top left) gets added up and that's how the total gameplay time is decided.

The actual video needed to be split into 4 parts because of all the extra crap such as the title screen, the bonus effects at the end of each stage, and the credits at the end.

The water levels in all the Sonic games are the worst. There is always a few parts where the level designers would make it so that you wouldn't find a bubble till the LAST possible moment before you died. Plus there was that horrible music that indicated you were just about to drown. Awesome game. Beautiful speed run.

Sonic cannot run as fast in tame obviously. The spin dash wasent until sonic 2 anyway
