  • AWEsooooooooooooooooooooooooome.

  • The very beginning remind me of "Don't Bring Me Down" :P

  • is there an album with all these covers on?

  • can someone please upload a better quality vid if possible? ><

  • pretty good cover of my favorite albums

  • That was brilliant! True to the original, but very Stereophonics. Exactly what I want from a cover! Especially of the Beatles.

  • What's the point in doing a cover if it is identical to the original? If you want something to sound exactly like the original, just listen to the original. I love covers that are different in some way. It gives you a different view on the song. Sometimes they suck sometimes they are amazing. Look at Hendrix's cover of All Along The Watchtower

  • They did a good job.

  • Not often a cover almost eclipses the original !

  • Great!!

  • love the beatles and i think this is a fucking storming "COVER" well done boys

  • Wow. This cover is fantastic!

  • wow everyone just loves complaining . its a cover people the fact that its not the same is half the point. also the stereophonics are one of the most underrated bands in existance

  • love the harmony !

  • The Beatles are one of my favorite bands. I'm dedicating an entire playlist to them

  • Never.

    Cover.

    The Beatles.

These guys proved that once again.

  • @janjonasappel Well said! : )

  • Fucking good cover.

  • They're such huge Beatles fans that they need a chord book......

  • @LordBikeshed - A little-known fact: The Beatles used chord charts. When you're paying for studio time, you use every trick in the book to get it right the first time.

  • @Rknbkr12 The Beatles didn't do shite cover versions like this for a start....

  • @LordBikeshed musically these guys are pretty good you have to admit. but yeah i dont like how they changed the tempo

  • @LordBikeshed It is a matter of taste whether you like the covers Beatles did or is it the "original is always better" mantra with them too. In the early days Beatles weren't the holier than thou but another teenage girls' hearthrob to pass by within two years or so. Thanks to their songwriting ability and allowed change in style they did survive as long as they did. Nowadays if a band tries something new there's a choir to high heavens or down to hell about how they aren't the thing anymore.

  • Oh my God, Stereophonics sounds like Oasis!

Great bands! I love Beatles, Oasis and now Stereophonics! :D

  • Comment removed

  • That drummer is awful.

  • It was fifty years ago today

    In a scuzzy German caberét

That the band aquired such a style

it was guaranteed to drive us wild

So let me thank Das Vaterland

    For nurturing a miracle

    Beatles then and Beatles evermore!

Nice, faithful cover...the way it SHOULD be, despite the arsemaggots pewling otherwise. ;-)

  • The drums at the start sound like "song two" by blur

  • oh my god! it's a cover! a good cover is someone taking the song and making their own version of it. Just making it sound exactly the same as the original is boring. This is a great cover.

  • nice accent

  • cool cover

  • I think i'm gonna puke :-((

  • Here i am waiting for the chords to 'a day in the life' to start up but they aren't that skilled

  • @glethal85 ?? This was part of the 40th anniversary of Pepper where different bands did a song each... Unfortunately for some reason someone thought it'd be a good idea for Pete Doherty to do A Day In the Life. And that really isn't at all skilled!

  • EXELENT, how sounds live

  • @campwitte

    Er no.

Paul Holds the G on the word "geting" then drops to a Fsharp on the word "end" This turkey thinks he is improving it by going up to an A on the word "geting" - completely losing the effect of the harmony which is very clever and unusual in that Paul is holding the same note much of the time throughout the song while the chords are changing all over the place. This is part of what makes Pepper innovative and special.

  • vocals were a bit too quick on the sgt. peppers, but overall I like it. Especially the revamped lyrics!

  • @aSimulatedHigh this is the reprise of the track, it was featured at the end of the album. not to be a know it all but the lyrics and speed of the song are correct.

  • I like it!

  • uhhh good effort?

  • One of those guys really sounds like John!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fucking atrocious.

  • @LordBikeshed If you wanted the song to sound exactly like the Beatles version that I reccomend listening to the Beatles version.

  • Sounds great.

  • That was good

  • The only good beatles covers are with some form of northern regional accent.

  • Ok All you bitches

I want to see their covers?

    Whenever critics as the best

You are nothing, If you did see the effort it takes to make a cover not criticize

Only Paul, John, Ringo, or George or any real music

    One could criticize cover

Better Keep It Quiet Please! : D

  • Too slow...doesn't have the zing on it.

  • Too slow...doesn't have the zing on it.

  • he sings like fez

  • funny how people are slaggin this off when they were asked to recreate it in the way the beatles first recorded it and they also had to do it last minute when they realised it was the reprise that they had to do...

  • this is not cover, just a copy

  • Amazing cover, gives me the goosebumps!

  • @DowaShmiffy I'm talking about their records.

  • So i found a cover that sounds like it could be a stereophonics cover, but i really cant tell. Its on a skate video and id appreciate if someone could tell me who it is.

its on the beware of Sasquatch promo.

    youtube(dot)com/watch?v=-Xu97j25O_s

  • @DowaShmiffy Yeah..................Kelly Jones, the kelly jones band, I personally liked the old Stereophonics..........at least they were a proper band and it showed.

  • The reason the Beatles were so good is because they had three main songwriters that were equally contributing, how many bands have more than one songwriter, and how many times does a lead person dictate or bands fall apart because of "dicatorships"....mmmmmm sounds like every band I can think off apart from U2.

  • wow really good ,well done

  • that was awesome.

  • hey where is the a day in the life tribute of this???

  • @alwayswithmyfaith pete doherty and carl barat covered it

  • @waggatron1 they sound as if god had chosen them to cover the beatles...

  • Great cover guys!

  • For a beatles cover which i don't usually like too much this one is ok compared to the others the vocals are the best anyway!

  • Love the Beatles, but like Stereophonics doing their own stuff better.

  • These guys are more concerned about looking cool than producing a good sound. Need 3 part harmony to do the song justice anyway and the Paul line is badly interpreted - the singer thinks he is making it sound better by going up a tone on "getting very near the end" when in fact his modification sounds crap - they key is to hold the same note and let the chord change provide the subtle shift. Hopeless amateurs. Lister to the real version and be in awe.

  • @Zooney1 oh shut up

  • @emmabj

Just listen to the original version and you may understand how pointless this version is and how brilliant the Beatles version was/is.

  • @Zooney1 It's a tribute, not an impersonation.

  • @Zooney1 Dont troll. Their version was decent, no need to hate.

  • @Zooney1 how are they more concerned about looking cool? There not trying to better the beatles version how could they ? Its a cover, their cover, there is only one singer in the band so they cant do a three part harmony, and his voice is completely differant from any of the beatles. So please give videos like this justice? if not upload a video of yoursel covering this song. Remember the key is to hold the same note....blah blah blah.

  • I loved that!

  • @jasonwkeller76 again shut up

  • singin little bit flat.....

  • Is this (and the other covers for Radio 2) available on CD at all?

  • Great job by these guys, one question though...why wasn't Noel Gallagher contacted to work on this track? lol

  • @hamricmike8 because Noel Gallagher is a hopeless talentless John Lennon wannabe who should not be allowed anywhere near their music...

  • @videogamenostalgia oh okay, thanks for clearing that up. Dickhead.

  • @hamricmike8 lol

  • @videogamenostalgia I'd like to hear one of your songs.........and I'm sure Mr Noel Gallagher of Oasis has got plenty of songs you have'nt heard yet!

  • quite good, i like it

  • I think it's actually a very good cover!

    me likes it

I particularly like the bee-like lead guitar

  • what an awsome cover nothing more just awsome

  • Not Liking the Beatles is like not LOVING UR MUM IT"S JUST NOT RAAAAIGHT!!!!!

  • @zionchild83 Haha, thats quite a good metaphor

Sure it happens sometimes... but it makes the world sick

  • Hey guys, IS A COVER! they don't have to sound EXACTLY like The Beatles ¬¬ I think its a good cover.

  • Sorry but these guys sound like a bunch of young amateurs compared to the Beatles. When you listen closely to the Beatles version it really is so very good in every respect - the amazing tightness the quality and the expressiveness of the vocals and the guitars as well as all the ad libbing. Nothing compares.

  • the beatkes are the best thing wat came out of my hometown of liverpool u dnt like the beatles then have taste in music my freinds :D

  • Beatles - always the best!

  • great cover but they are tryin o sing it just like the beatles did

  • @hugeozzyfan1 nah they are just singing the melody correctly, thats kelly jones' natural voice!

  • @RcEdits ahh ic, thx!!!

  • funkay

  • sounds cool ;)

  • tylko podreślam i to grubą kreską że piosenki zostały wymyślone przez arcymistrzów beatlesów i nikt nie ma prawa powiedzieć że lepiej brzmi od beatlesów oni ją tylko coverują

  • Good version...a lot like the original. Good harmonics (is it written right?)

  • Nice cover, all you guys need is the suits. And you're good! LOL

  • I think!..., oh well forget it!, no one better than The Beatles!

  • Short 'n sweet...... just like Kelly J ;)

  • Great Cover.

  • Great cover! Phonics did it again! :)

  • Great Cover !!

  • How choosy they are!! I've always preferred the REPRISE cause is so much rocker!!!!

  • Wow, this sounds a lot like the original, amazing...

  • @Frankiee88 YEAH IT DOES :D

  • we will have THE BEATLES in our HEARTS for ever they might leave the earth but they will never leave our HEARTS

  • cool

  • Way too many singers

  • Excellent!

  • Not bad, but I still prefer the one from the Love album.

  • Guys! You should listen the last track of sgt pepper's lonely hearts club band album, it's sound exactly like the beatles!

  • VERY, Very nice....

  • Arguably the greatest 90 seconds in all of rock. The original, that is.

  • nice....

  • You guys are amazing!!!!

  • WOW!

I'm huge Beatles fan most of my life but have to admit.. this is really good! :)

  • the voice sounds like sintetizer

  • Check out "kittibutt" channel to hear some catchy original songs - try it, you might like it!

  • stereo phonics, what a solid act, beatles were never this solid!

  • @janfreidun - um, they are covering the most solid band in history - The Beatles. Without them there would be no stereophonics.

  • @janfreidun Eh, let's not get carried away, here...

  • wow

  • yeahhhhhhhhhh very good.

  • gay gay gay this is the paul version that he plays at then end of his shows

  • HE'S LEEDS AND HE KNOWS HE IS

  • Hey was their ever a CD with these songs covered that ever came out!!?? I would pay 60 Dollars for it straight off.

  • i didnt think it would sound this good...i am considering doing a cover myself...i thinking about singing all my loving...please watch!

  • Amazing :)

  • exelent!

  • Not a bad cover but the singer's pronunciation's a bit dodgy.

    He needs to relax, lol.

  • Its Kelly's natural raspy voice. He sounds quite relaxed in this one :) Not as good as The beatles.

  • lovee it. NICE WORK GUYS

  • these guys nailed it !

  • really good!!

  • Yeah great cover but 40 years and nobody comes close to The Beatles... amazing

  • Exactly lol!

  • @resiev15 maybe the who!

  • Excellent!

  • Nice job guys!

  • great harmonization

  • This is one of the good Beatles covers I've heard

  • that was fun thanks

  • they sound like the beatles

  • wow, very nice :)

  • great fu**ing awesome cover

  • Excellent cover.

  • The reason it's a great cover is that they did an almost perfect imiation of the orginal in terms of voice and sound.

  • @danutcase66 yeah! Definitely. Go Beatles in their own right! =P

  • listen more carefully to the original. Its not spot on, and thats whats good. i like this one

  • GREAT COVER!!!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Fine job. It has everything except the magic, which of course is never coming back.

  • Not liking the Beatles is like not liking the sun.

  • brilliant!

  • @TheSanityInspector i dont like the sun but i LOVE the Beatles =S

  • @TheSanityInspector Totally

  • @TheSanityInspector The Sun newspaper?

  • @TheSanityInspector I cry when it goes down :(

  • @TheSanityInspector

    correct

  • @TheSanityInspector

I don't like the sun as much as the beatles - i'm more a night person :)

  • @TheSanityInspector too bad this isnt the beatles

  • brilliant man !

  • This at the end of the album before "a day in the life"

  • this is AMAZING

  • Comment removed

  • You never heard The Beatles version of this?

Sheesh, how about go listening to it?

  • Well then I suggest you go listen to it cause you will be blown away!

P.S If you dont remember the beatles why did you look at this video?

  • awsome cover

  • garsinx, giv ya chin a wobble!

  • interesting - nearly as good as the orignal (but a bit...clipped)

  • i don't remember the lonely hearts club band sounding robotic

  • This is Sgt. Pepper's (reprise), so not Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

  • ...what is your point?

  • That there's a difference between the two. Sgt Pepper's reprise is also a real Beatles song, it's not the name of their cover! So I suggest you'll listen the album again.

  • you completely misinterpreted what i said. please, read it again.

"i don't remember (sarcastic demeanor toward the cover's lack of derivative virtue) the lonely hearts club band (fictional sgt. pepper's band; alter ego of the beatles) sounding robotic (exhibiting metallic quality)"

  • Juist...

  • this cover sux dude S: is like the fucking cover of "happy together"

  • fukin rejects!
