Hey, now so many people criticize the tranny in the Fiero not holding up with the V8. How is it for you 70dustpan? Do people also give you this crap and nonsense, or is the Focus tranny really rated high? Car sounds good. Other V8 conversions don't sound like V8's. This one, you can't hide has a V8. Is the clutch holding? Is it HD racing type? What mods did you have to do to accomodate the new motor? And is this the 351, similar to the Cleveland in muscle cars?
Not my car, but the 351 was not a newer-ish motor from say a mustang or something, it was carburated, not fuel injected or anything!! The guy was able to fit it with a kit that was about 6k!! I didnt ask the guy much about it, but the car was sold a day after i took this video to a guy in texas! The guy had fuel cell in the hatch area and that!
was that 03OrangeSVT? I'm a member at Focus Fanatics and he lists a 670 HP Mustang in his "what I drive" thing. Fucking bad ass car, but it must handle like a pig, I can't imagine what the weight distribution is like.
