I still use the IRNV fine, but on medium range weapons like M249 and KH2002. It fades out after a long range and cuts your situational awareness a bit, but it's still very useful. The real trick is that it's actually a lot clearer in DAYLIGHT.
If they put up smoke, but had the glowing enemies, then it would be okay. If they took out glowing enemies but made it night vision or see through light, then it would be okay. Now, it's a handicap.

@mcdudly00 I've played about 80 hours of the game. Origin isn't too much of a problem but Battlelog seems to have its issues. Its quite team-based, i would say more then BC2 was, much better playing with friends though. Its a fun FPS if your not one of those people that rage everytime you die.

they have nerf the IRNV the wrong way. they should of have just kept it so you can still see far but just make it so people don't light up till at a closer range. id say the distance right at 1:51 from where he is at to the pole with the two flags hanging down by the road. that far to detect glow off enemies. the fog effect they did to the scope was a horrible design to put in. and make it so you cant see through the tactical flashlight (dont know if it can/cant already. only used it twice)

@gamer953 KH2002 overpowered? That is one of the worst guns in the game. Huge horizontal recoil, no full auto and takes ages to reload. I have seen like 2 person use it among my 50 friends.They should actually buff it instead by removing abit of horzontal recoil or reduce the reload.
