i can honestly say its a blessing to be a vol. firefighter. It feels really good to save someone. To me and im sure others the reasons we do it is to give back to our communities, and show them that we care alot about them.
When I'm called to duty God wherever flames may rage give me strength to save a life whatever be its age Help me to embrace a little child before it is too late or save an older person from the horror of that fate I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me to guard my neighbor and protect his property And if it is your will that I have to lose my life Bless with your protecting hand my children and my wife. it dosnt matter what type volunteer, paid if it wasnt for them my life would have been very different to what it is and because of that i became one . next time u look at one of the little kids that get to see the trucks and us not at work just showing what we do when they go back to mum and dads arms and say i wanna be like them thats y i do it. the world aint great but one person can make the difference when u make them a part of a team on a truck. and thank you to all the fire fighters!

How beautiful. We lost my brother last week who was a retired Firefighter and a Vietnam Vet. He loved his Core and loved his Lorain Ohio Firefighter family. What a great tribute to see these young firefighters come in shifts to honor a fellow firefighter that retired in 1998. He had a picture after a fire with the phrase "I walk where the devil dances". Now he walks with God.
I have my application into for a fire department and people ask me why would you want to I said I want to because when i die i will know that I have made my impact and saved lifes that need it. I am very proud of firefighters.

just wanted to say, if you have a vo-tek that you can take protective classes, during high school then go for it, all the training is free and it counts twards your graduation... im a voulenteer and i never did that but I know so many people that did and its so much easier... but when you do become a FF, just watch yourself and stay safe...

My son is a Firefighter/EMT and every time I hear his pager go off or the roar of the engines and sirens heading off to battle a fire or medical emergency my heart skips a beat.
I'm proud yet always fearful and my prayers are always with all firefighters and emergency workers.

as a firefighter myself, this movie is touching and i think its great, the only problem i see in alot of movies is actors dressed as forefighter, im sorry, but there not the real heroes
FYI 99.99 percent of the video is based off of photos of actual everyday Firefighters. Some of them that are in there I know, and go on calls with on a regular basis...

FYI 99.99 percent of the video is based off of photos of actual everyday Firefighters. Some of them that are in there I know, and go on calls with on a regular basis...

I'm a firefighter myself, and I love this video. The respect and thoughtfulness that went into it is amazing. Thank you so much!!! The firefighter's Prayer is great in the first place, but this video and song adds so much more to it.

yeah they might have been fire fighters but they might not have died on duty.. thats what i mean by could have been in the building working when it happened..
