I've always loved Arthur and always will. Now, they have my current favorite author in an episode! Speaking of which, the Neil Gaiman books I've read are Coraline, Neverwhere, Stardust, and, currently, American Gods. My brother has The Graveyard Book, so that's on my reading list
After watching this episode I looked more up about Neil Gaiman being a huge fan of his book Coraline and I recently took out the Graveyard Book from the library. I can't wait to start it.
Wow...I did not realize that Arthur was supposed to be set in the real world. Neil Gaiman is truly awesome to take time to appear on a kid's show like this :)
I gotta say, among all of the celebrities to guest star on Arthur, Neil Gaiman is the most random. Yeah, even more random than Ming Tsai, Frank Ghery, the Car Talk guys and Yo-Yo Ma.
This is amazing! I loved Arthur, and Neil Gaiman as a kid, and I still love both now (Neil Gaiman more so now, as I can read more of his stuff as it's more age appropriate now!) so this is completely perfect :)
Such an adorable story, for adults and children alike!
I have two books signed by Neil and this episode aired on my birthday. And I'm a writer. AND I love Arthur even though I'm in college. Clearly someone knows too much about me. *searches room for cameras*
This is so great that I feel a keyboard smash coming on jklasd;fiuhawe;ihaiuerhgf;aher;ga;ergh;aujhdf;uaher;fhae;]h;iou4r4r4334r4\e. Yep. I knew there was a reason I still watch Arthur.
@0BatGirl0 Get past that writing block! I know what that feels like since I'm going through a funk with my webcomic, but don't let it stop you. Listen to your favorite music, start something else for a while that's shorter, but keep writing because only you can tell your story, as Neil says.
@DuchessAliana Awesome, you can see some of it on my DeviantART. Just search Flint Dawson or Amelia Harker or Once Upon a Time in Australia... Probably should organise my gallery a little better.
@ChoopaEverywhere how many times have we seen that? It's like "Neil gaiman! What are you doing in my cereal!?" and then at lunch it's like "Neil Gaiman! What are you doing in my pita?" and then "Neil Gaiman! What are you doing in my rice?" We're still waiting for that cook book Mr. Gaiman. *sigh* lol. :D
When I heard Neil Gaiman made an appearance on Arthur, I was surprised. Usually the celebrities voices on Arthur are not British writers with a dark frame of mind in general. This was great fun and, well...Very Neil.
I like to believe Neil Gaiman hides in bushes and watches little children while wearing a trench coat in real life too.

Well, it's really just a narrative with illustrations. So it is more of an illustrated novel then a graphic novel.
