  • jkaa034 that is some serious 1965 detroit metal lol. I know what you mean about the rot I live in southern MA road salt is nasty stuff. Problem with the cars too is there pretty expensive to keep running. Thanks for posting ! Cheers !

  • THE MATRIX!!!

  • Nice Lincoln ! He has the Power !

  • Too bad you are selling it, man...I mean, it would be great if you could hold onto it. Those Lincolns were the prettiest ones made, in my opinion--awesome car.

  • haha nice burnout xD .. nice car..

  • Nice car. I once had a 68. I could be wrong but it sounds like she has a bit of a knock to her.

  • Ok ill give u,1500. And ill take good care of her. Get my email its Theoldcarlover@gmail.com. I want u to rev it good for me.

  • nice ride....is this car for sale?

  • @rokoprch7 thanks dude! and yeah, it kind of is.

  • Gosh I love this car.

  • @TheOldcarlover thanks :) :) and sorry about that, habit/figure of speech/assumption that all comments on this vid are from guys haha. yeah i'm currently working on making another vid - probably the final video of her in my ownership. stay tuned.

i'm in massachusetts. you could find one with MUCH less rust/rot in NM. but to answer your question price is not a factor with me - i just want her to have a good home.

  • Im actually a female. Hiw much would u ask for her? And would u do a cold start video of it just for me? Plz. And where are u located? Im in albuquerque nm.

  • hahaaaaa this guy is doing some nice burn out without even announcing it :D

  • @GTA3Modder hehe :)

  • What a hot sounding car u got there. Do u still have it?

  • @TheOldcarlover thanks man. i do still have it, and it still runs and drives (its in my driveway now), however its fate is soon to be decided i'm afraid. winter is upon me, parking does not allow it in winter months where i reside. i dont have the means to get it back in legal condition at the moment (pfff, legal...). anyone want to adopt her? give her a good home?? she needs one :(

  • Man. I can not get enough of the way this baby sounds! Reminds me of my '71 Marquis! Though yours is louder...

  • @Thomasmen523 haha thanks! I can't get enough of that sound either, trust me...

  • what town in mass do you live in my dad has a 59 lincoln mark 3 (i think) 4 door 430 with glass packs

  • @casebutler '59... yeah thats got the same 430 im fairly sure, must sound just as gnarly! im from central MA. have moved since (not far), not gonna disclose details publicly on youtube ;), still have my lincoln tho :)

  • I'm driving from Titusville Florida to Chicago to buy mine. It's a 66 coupe with original engine. Nice ride. Cheers...

  • @valtierra2966 Right on!! Enjoy that thing, you will LOVE it!! And congratulations! :D

  • @gian6992 finding parts is gunna be hard but i say fix it !!!!!! original engines are worth shit tons more in the original car it came in

  • @andrewsaurusrex23 There are a few places new me actually that specialize in old Lincoln parts. The biggest issue on my baby is the frame rot :(

  • @jkaa034 frame rot D: oh no! that sucks. yeah im selling mine because my dad told me he doesnt want to work on it anymore :( wanna buy it? lol

  • @andrewsaurusrex23 yeahhhh new england sucks like that :( if i had the room, i would totally take that '67 off your hands :D (but if i had the room i'd own literally about a thousand cars)

  • @jkaa034 lol i found a guy from the military thats interested :D !

  • My dream car, oh man I hope to own one of these one day. <3

  • @jkaa034 did you restore it or was it already in pretty good condition?

  • @gian6992 came in that condition aside from the custom exhaust (amazingly). oil change, and it fired up. couple minor-to-medium mechanical repairs over the years.

  • @jkaa034 nice i was just wonderin cause i just bought a 65 too but the engine is fucked...so im debating whether i should even try to fix it or just buy a whole new engine...any tips you can give me on what i should look out for?

  • @gian6992 I did nothing to restore it, it was in that condition when i got it. A rare find I suppose! About the engine... that's a tough call. That engine is incredibly rare - it was only used in those Lincolns from like the late 50's to the mid 60's. So there is very little part availability for them and ZERO aftermarket for them. They are fantastic & unique engines - super long stroke, designed to be smooth and luxurious (by 1965 standards). A turn key crate would be an ideal replacement.

  • 1:42 why I must think about CHRISTINE !!!!! :)

    What a dream car !!

  • @DerTrabant haha it literally was my dream car, saw the '64 (or was it a '63?) in the matrix and fell in love. decided i was going to own that car. still is my dream car, i wish it was mint...

  • @jkaa034

You can make it in Mint !! ;)

I spent a few days a month to fix my lincoln ( mark V 1978 ) a few rust spots...

When these are gone, the car will be professionally painted.

  • @DerTrabant thought the same damm thing

  • it's a beauty.. had one just like it..

  • @clarkinthedark1 thank you :) yes there are none like it. in my opinion, best looking car ever made on this planet. and most striking at the same time. and obviously most comfy :)

  • Beautiful car!

  • @mwwansing thank you!! :)

  • I envy your vehicle. this is a very nice example of a 65 lincoln.

  • @TheLincolnGuy thanks man!

  • @jkaa034 Very welcome

  • Nice car..but is it me or it sounds like it knocking?

  • @greenmisc thanks man. nah that loud tick you hear is actually a big crack/hole in the exhaust manifold, makes it sound like crap i know :(

  • not even kidding u are the first person that didnt put airbags and 22's on ur lincoln on youtube.

  • @andrewsaurusrex23 hahaha thanks man, i guess i'm one of the few left with taste? :/ thats honestly sad.... i'd never touch the body of my baby. rust, rot, weathered paint - the lot. its all good. rat fink for life. just in the weeds (permanently dumped springs, no air bags indeed, mind those bumps :P (or dont cuz its a 65 lincoln and nothing can hurt it) ), white walls, and open exhaust on a high compression V8 is all i want. shiny chrome and nice paint jobs and "rims" can get stuffed.

  • @jkaa034 lol you are extremely lucky to actually find one all original in the shape that it is, thats like a car show winner all day, unlike mine :( its mostly original, needs a few parts and it doesnt run :( right now it sits outside in the freezing winter and like a foot of snow is on top of it. seriously though if u put that in a car show, definent winner for shure all original. people dream of having all original cars

  • damn! thats a nice car bro, did u restore it or is it like all original and was ur dads?

  • @andrewsaurusrex23 thanks dude!! nope all original, found it in some ad my buddy showed me (cuz he knew that was my dream car) and got it as my first car out of Barre, MA back in 1998. only thing i did to it was pay a local shop to do a brilliant 2.5" exhaust job to glass packs. which is the fantastic noise you hear in this vid. that high pitched tick you hear though is a pretty brutal exhaust manifold leak :/ (huuuuuge crack in it) :( seriously best ever though...

  • @jkaa034 *best car ever
