greatest shot blocker of all time. russell initiated the importance of the blocked shot altering team play but olajuwon took it to another level. howard is not on this level. shaq never was. nor robinson ewing daugherty or the other posts from the 80s and 90s. mutombo was exceptional but was not all over the floor as hakeem was.

@hangtime23ful That would have been interesting because the suns probably would not be able to contain hakeem.....and that would have caused a bull vs rockets finals.....and the bulls always had a hard time against the rockets thus giving the bulls their first finals loss

@dnttalktomeh True the rockets did give the bulls hard times but that's just the reg. season which is completely different from the playoffs. The bulls in the late 90s had a hard time against the jazz in the reg. season but ended up beatin em twice in the finals. Btw the bulls earned their titles.

@hangtime23ful the jazz vs bulls finals series had a load of bs calls in favor of the bulls.....I think that if the refs didnt favor the bulls they only win 3 titles

@dnttalktomeh Ok then what BS calls r u talkin about? I know in the past teams have gotten screwed but just cuz a team wins that doesn't automatically mean the other team was screwed. Don't say there were BS calls if ur not even gonna bring up certain calls. Not gonna try to put words in ur mouth but if u bring up Jordan's push off on Russell, that wasn't really a push off Jordan hand was goin down & really Russell just slipped & Russell himself said that was the greatest no call in nba history.

@hangtime23ful lol not that one....one example was in game 6 of the 98 finals...Howard Eisley makes a key 3 point shot with 1 second left in the shot clock but the ref calls a shot clock violation....and the exact opposite happened with ron harper but they dont call it..

@dnttalktomeh Yeah that was a very good example but that was only game 6, so no tellin what would've happened in the end of the series & that's not a load of BS calls just 2. Plus back then u weren't able to relooked at the play if it was questionable.
