What a great idea! I assume from some of your other videos about the hatchlings, that everything turned out? Did you change anything with the setup, and how are you measuring the water in the hatch media? Looking forward to hearing from you...
BTW This video for sure deserves my subscribe! Good job.
i also gotta question, not so simple as "whats the pump for" but, what exactly is the screening for? and how do u keep them in your soil mixture? just in containers?
nice yo, thats funny, ive use that same guttering for my snapping turtle tank stuff. great idea and how u put it all together. looks like something id do. so have u ever had humitidy problems with that?? My friends 19 month+ bearded dragon pair had eggs 2 nights ago, 24 of them. he has them in a 50$ incubator bought from a local farming store. i thought he shoulda put them ina container with vermiculite & whatever else in the mixter that is needed. All of his eggs are really collapsed though
Hi,I'm pretty sure my bearded drgon is pregnant, and I'm in the middle of making an incubator very similar to yours, the only difference is I'm using a polystyrene box,was wondering if you think this will work like yours?
I am in Canada is there a place i can buy a Incubator instead of making one ,do u know how much one is to buy and how long does it take for eggs to hatch
How's the humidity levels? I have one built the kinda of the same way and actually have 15 eggs drown because of the excessive humidity levels that caused droplets of water to form and drip onto the eggs. I have since corrected it by dripping a few holes in the tub and it has corrected the humidity level however I had to sacrifice about a 4 degree drop in temps.
Why did you use a large cooler? Do you have multiple dragons laying eggs. Great set up. My female dragon is almost ready to lay eggs. Wish me luck. This will be my first clutch of eggs I'm going to try to hatch.
The pump just circulates the water so that it heats evenly instead of just around the heater. My thinking was that it might help produce a more stable environment for the eggs.
u forgot to edit it, how well did it work?
