best footstool i've ever had was when i was playing as mario and my enemy hit a smash ball up in the air and jumped after it, i footstooled him and did his side aerial spike came down and killed him with the final smash for a game set

its too bad your opponent will rarly let you get close to them... at least i wouldn't let you stand right next to me for half a second trying to jump off my head. this doesn't seem very practical.

there are too! you can create your own combos and they are different each time. Thats one of the things i like best about the game.

Footstooling is used more as a tuant then anythign else xD

Unfortunately, Toadstool Jumping not only leads your opponent to an open attack, but when you do it, you yourself are also defenseless. Kind of a double-edged sword, huh? I guess you just gotta find the right moment to use it.

I hate the footstool, every time I do it with Kirby, Metaknight, Pit, or Dedede, the ones with multiple jumps, and I am always the one who is footstooled. It is useless since you can't really train with it unless you have instant brawl skill other than melee.

for me this is the most effective way to do downspike with marth........ footstool and immediatly hit the down a atk and u will get them right with the tip of the sword :D
