I agree with many comments here; 1st: Vreid and Windir are BOTH very awesome. 2nd: Don't bother comparing the two just because they have most of the same members. Windir was folk/black metal whereas Vreid is more blackened thrash. Its like saying "That apple isn't banana enough" when it was never trying to BE a banana. Y'know?

I wish everyone would stop trying to compare Vreid and Windir.

Windir was Valfar's Magnum Opus, it was his spirit that fueled Windir, so when he died, Windir died.

That been said, Vreid is fucking awesome, probably one of the best bands i've ever heard
