Lots of mis-information out there! The best way is just to show them how awesome your dogs are, how many amazing behaviors they can do and that attracts people's interest! You can't change people's minds, but you can help those who have taken the first step on their own and are interested in what the other options are.

There are a lot of people out there claiming such things. Of course, what kind of dogs do they have and what kind of relationship to their dogs? Your are lovely and have great impulse control. Bravo!

That;s silly that someone would say that, but i'm suprised you felt the need to call them a moron. True they shouldn't be saying statements they don't understand, but it may be that they are afraid to admit there are different ways to train. we need to educate, and let people decide what works, not make them feel like crap first. very cute doggie by the way.

I spent over two hours offering to mentor that girl and debated lots of training methods with her. She repeatedly insulted my way of training while I refrained. I think calling her a moron on a page she will never see is pretty harmless ;)

I agree tho, one must educate, but being human, one must occasionally vent frustration as well. Thank you for the kind words about my dogs.
