I have a feeling that if there is a grand scheme operating behind the scenes, they probably use folks like Alex, with or without his knowledge, just to test the standards of evidence that are accepted by his listeners. They release truth and allow the AJ's of the world to add 10-%20% of their brand of crazy knowing people don't understand how to sniff out BS on their own and will consume the good w/ the bad, and in turn discredit even the true aspects of any story. Loughner is painted as a "hard-core liberal". Alex Jones likes to say that his favorite book was the Communist Manifest. What is not often mentioned is that his other favorite books are Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead,Orwell's Animal Farm, and Hitler's Mein Kampf. If anything it makes him appear to be "outside" of the mainstream political spectrum. Much like Alex Jones considers himself to be.

His campus video also shows him to be very paranoid at authority fearing his rights were violated.

@Tripo1iSamson I'll admit I have a bit of a conspiracy theory guilty pleasure, but I enjoy it for a different reason. I am an Atheist and a Skeptic, and I find it kind of fun to test my BS detector. What is of interest to me is the fact that there are secret societies that use occult symbols, and many of our leading class are associated. But, he does have MANY intelligent things to say- the problem is that often times he dosen't choose to say them. Listen to him as a younger man. He is a disinformant- preaching hate.
