while i don't agree with the ethical idea of "might makes right" i like this kinda stuff. I like hardcore where I can hear what they're saying. I think it unethical to pull the plug, censorship and all that and irresponsible in cases of causing riots. They should've let them play longer in the interest of public safety.

holy fuck i remember being at this show in boston it was mission of burma's last show there must of been like at least 3000 people there probably more and within minutes after Negative FX took the stage the soundman pulled the plug and there was a riot jack kelly shouted "we ain't gonna stop fuck you!" and the soundman got a bass over his head and then they continued to play--that soundman wanted to end the show cause of the riot but negative fx wanted to continue playing good ass show nice vid!

This is the only footage that exists of Negative FX. When the camera goes out at the end, it is because someone cut the power off in the whole building. Negative FX were VERY influential on quite a number of hardcore bands throughout the last 25 years, and I will argue this point if need be. Whoever said the 'gay jocks' comment was obviously looking for something else when he decided to watch this video.

I always thought that Last Rights were better. Might Makes Right is pretty much one of Negative FX's few good songs. Most of the rest of it is just stupid, utterly short, incoherent thrashing with apparently little thought put into it.
