Wait.. How did you manage to Play this at 60FPS? Evrytime i try it Goes to a steady 15fps and my computers system specs are more powerfull then yours, whats your secret?
@VicViperXxXxX Do you mean when recording with Fraps or the game only runs 15fps period? What video card are you running? I've read Rage has problems on AMD/ATI video cards due to OpenGL issues but you might search through the Rage forum on Steam, there's info on tweaks / workarounds to make it run better.
@73mathesar No no no ... The game runs fine 60+ althe time but when i hit the record button it drops to 15 no less.. no more Im useing HD6990 as my videocards
@VicViperXxXxX Ok well I'm using Fraps 3.4.6 and I have it set to record onto a separate hard drive altogether. (Not the same drive as Steam) I have Fraps set to record @ 30fps / Full-size, (Youtube would re-encode 60fps video to 30fps anyhow, I tried it) I have the "Lock framerate while recording" option Unchecked in Fraps so the game continues to run at 60fps while recording. also keep in mind there is less overhead with Nvidia GPU Transcoding enabled in Rage, that could be a factor as well.
@Sulked No I only use a PS3 controller when driving vehicles (it's in the description), But the gamepad is always enabled which is why it shows the "A" button dialog even tho I'm using mouse + key.
If you buy this add on, will it allow you to play free play mode after completing the game?
