Truth be told, I spent 27 months working and living in Kabul Afghanistan in the midst of the war. I was driven all over Kabul from Camp Blackhorse, Eggers, Phoenix all the way to Darulaman without incident in soft skin vehicles. Yes the danger is there, yet on most days Kabul is as safe as many cities in the US. The people do move freely and commerce is at an all time high. The video reminds me of my many daily rides through the streets of Kabul and many of my own photos.
