Why the quicks persisted with that short and wide stuff in the last Ashes series is a total mystery to me given Glenn proved for years that constant accuracy and pressure will terrorised batsman far more effectively.

My point is how umpires are so eager to give you out if you don't play a shot, even if the rules clearly state you shouldn't be out.
Rule one of LBW: Despite all other rules, the ball MUST be going on to hit the stumps
