  • ooh ahh glen mc'grath OOH AHH GLEN MCGRATH!

  • Video quality is good.

  • Wow, them cracks make it unplayable.

  • @pradeepanisononline Short memory KP on debut hit him for a huge six straight down the ground on a green lourdes pitch, he is a great batsman

  • @snyperdoc1 I have to disagree with the racist comment also. Just because he played hard doesn't make him racist. I feel that word is thrown around far too often, and I think it is sad. I feel that many people simply use it when they have no logical argument. He most certainly did not target the sub continent. He was in a sledging incident with Matthew Hayden early in his career. Played hard... Yes. Racist... Definitely no

  • its like you cannot expect to not receive a mouthful with a bit of swearing which may include your wife. I have seen Mcgrath being provocative, shows his supposedly superior trait and arrogance with players from sub continent.Let me assure you I do like seeing some banter and sledging. To me Mcgrath is pure racist. Being competitive is one thing, however disrespecting Lara, Sachin, Jaya shows he is a bit of tosser in life as well. He will never get my respect simply because of his character!

  • @snyperdoc1 And I'm sure that would bother him a great deal, some faceless wanker shitcanning him and calling him a racist. You are a flog.

  • @snyperdoc1 I mean you don't even know the guy, what an idiotic thing to say, re his character. You do realise he raises thousands of dollars for berate cancer research? You know bugger all or you are a complete arse.

  • @hirdy6 Cancer researh was off the field. Many players do similar stuff. He would specifically target players whom he knew wouldn't retaliate such as Sachin, Lara, Jayasurya. He rode his luck far too many times and got away with it. He repeats the same with sub continent players but not with others who appear like him. What do you call that then? Make a term for it and call it what you want but Mcgrath is arrogant. With time he may have learnt its not worth it, I guess it too late though

  • @snyperdoc1 How dare you cheapen the work this man did by saying it was off the field, many on-field activities were/are held in his late wife's name to raise money every year. As far as the racist allegations ( why do you people raise that racist stuff all the time?) and your suggestion that he was selective in who he sledged. The fact is he sledged most opponents, be they Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan or who ever. Shit, he even sledged interstate opponents, wheres the racism there?

  • @hirdy6 How dare?? Shhhhhh dont tell your uncle Mcgrath about it. Get real mate!

  • @snyperdoc1 I'm not your fucking mate either, get that right, you are an idiot and a coward who hides behind the issue of racism while all the time harbouring racist feelings yourself, now there's a surprise, NOT. 'Typical of your creed', what a flog.

  • @hirdy6 ok dont be my mate..

  • @snyperdoc1 YOURE BEYOND HELP!

  • @hirdy6 I only said about what I saw on the damn cricket field for about 15 years

  • @snyperdoc1 You are an idiot.

  • @hirdy6 your a typical of your creed! Whether he opened a research institute has got nothing to do with his on field behaviour. You be a arsehole for 10 years and open a research institute and say "yeah who cares, hes a good man now".He may be and that's got nothing to do with cricket. Many who played cricket such as Slater, Mcgrath displayed their off field distress on a cricket filed that they knew they could get away with. And the sole reason why they will never be a Imran Khan or Akram

  • @snyperdoc1 Typical of my creed? And you call me racist? As I said you are an idiot and I won't be wasting any more time with you. Besides you have obviously become emotional and are talking gibberish. How many of your blokes went to jail for on-field cheating earlier this year? Obviously inspired by that ball tampering cheat Khan and the cheat Akram. Final say, I would prefer a bit of sledging than any cheating anytime. McGrath was never a cheat. Pakistan are a disgrace to cricket.

  • @hirdy6 Prejudice Prejudice Prejudice ... Just because I praise Imran ( who did a lot of charity work too) doesnt mean I am a Paki you pin hole. McGrath will never be considered as a good cricketer. A good bowler for sure. Scroll down and see who's getting emotional here. Calling me a wanker, idiot, fucking not a mate are somethings you just said and your claiming me to be emotional. I haven't resorted to personal attack as yet.

  • @hirdy6 Did I call you racist? I said McGrath were. Maybe its just your guilt ..LOL

  • @snyperdoc1 Mcgrath is in no way a racist. He was a fair cricketer and one of the best bowlers in the last 50 years and for you to call him a racist depicts him as a cricketer with no moral values. He sledged just as much as any other bowler. Those racism accusations were absolute bullshit and the fact that one apparent incident that hasn't been proved would scar the career of a great player is absolutely shit. Glenn is a great person and a great cricket player and always will be.

  • what a beaut

  • Glenn McGrath, the best seam bowler to ever walk the face of the earth!

  • Pietersen was robbed. No referral.

  • the PERFECT bowling action

  • No one can touch Wasim and Waqar. . Have a look at their wicket taking . incredible!

  • The Australian commentators are hilarious!

  • best of the best of the best!

  • He was the best bowler for at least for 2 decades, no Akram, no Walsh, No Ambrose, No Waqar. ........ it was Glen Mcgrath

  • @indianspartacus, I agree that McGrath was certainly a better bowler (particularly in the aspect of getting big wickets at big moments) than Walsh, Waqar and Wasim....Might just give Ambrose the edge over him, though. Not a lot in it.

  • great quality :D

  • Amazing one...Ricky Ponting

  • Why the quicks persisted with that short and wide stuff in the last Ashes series is a total mystery to me given Glenn proved for years that constant accuracy and pressure will terrorised batsman far more effectively.

  • Brett Lee dislikes this!

  • @princebobby89 No, Mitchell "wide bouncers will get wickets" Johnson dislikes this. Brett learnt about accuracy from Glenn and put it to use himself as he slowed down, heck even Tait's learnt about the merits of accuracy over speed.

  • Ricky Ponting is the second best of all time after Sir Donald Bradman

  • Best fast bowler of all time

  • Haha, at 1.01 Warneys like YES! HI 5!

  • Ooh aah...

  • SACHIN TENDULKAR

  • @ankitupadhyay88 What are you saying? This is an Eng vs. Aus match. Last time I checked, Sachin Tendulkar played for neither of the teams.

  • Comment removed

  • SACHIN...........................

  • guys lets leave the stupid arguments about being the best to pakistan and indian fans,

  • what about Shane Warne

  • Hahahah!, suck shit poms!.

  • haha i love how no matter how good the batsman is (it just happened that there was no good batsmen in the poms side, as there never is) but mcgrath will be all over you and you will feel like the only way out is to get out

  • @brynjones11 Well said mate!, the only bigger sore loosrs than the poms are the Indians,

  • I can watch McG bowl forever. Graceful, smooth run up and full of guile. On the other hand, look at Ponting jump around like he's really in the thick of things. Clueless cunt, that's what he is!

  • @lexsite what the fuck youre a retarded cunt fuck off ay

  • @brynjones11 Ask your mother politely and she'll let you know. Meanwhile, Ponting remains the cunt he always was, leading a team of cheats, drunkards, fixers (waugh, warne) and druggies (warne). Good day son.

  • @lexsite what the fuck cunt that didnt even make any sense so obviously there is no point talking to a fucked piece of shit like you obviously you have serious issues

  • @lexsite All i can hear is "im a jealous smelly pom, wah wah wah!" you poms are such sore loosers!, its sad, face it !, us aussie are just better, plus we shower everday.

  • @lexsite Don't knock ponting!, he was the best batsman on earth for atleast 3 years!.

  • mark taylor is such a funny commentator.

  • very arrogant man, but cant deny hes one of the best. hes certainly was my favourite bowler to watch, i dont play alot at all but when i do i try to do the same action as he does. its obvious to see why he gets so many wickets. imo its all to do with his run up. he runs in at a slight angle but straightens when its comes to the release, i think thats where he gets some swing and turn from.

i might be wrong, i dont know. But thats my belief

  • @jamescooling how is he arrogant? much more of a gentleman than fast bolwers now.

  • @jamescooling actually its not the run up, its the ball and how u grip the ball

  • The ball to dismiss Cook was brilliant

  • great bowler

  • great quality

  • That KP lbw is kinda dodgy, it was pretty high and wide, but then umpires are happy to give you out if you didn't play a shot regardless.

Pretty bizarre how that's become the accepted interpretation of the rules when really all the rule states is you can be out even if it hits you outside the off stump or if the ball pitches outside leg.

  • @DeanWhipper High? it hit Pietersen below the kneeroll on his pads, there was no way it was high. But lets be honest, live it looked out straight away replay showed that it might have skimmed off stump, that was a 50-50 call in my eyes, doesnt look that dodgy to me, it was bad batting by Pietersen playing no shot to a ball coming in in the first place

  • @norths8 The replay clearly shows it would have missed off stump by 2 inches at least, enough doubt to give the batsman the benefit

My point is how umpires are so eager to give you out if you don't play a shot, even if the rules clearly state you shouldn't be out.

Rule one of LBW: Despite all other rules, the ball MUST be going on to hit the stumps

  • GONE GONE GONE GONE... or is he?

    hahaha

  • ooo aaahhhh glenn mcgraaa bowling shane

  • not in the next 10 years, not in the next 25 years . not in the next 100 years will we see a bowler like McGrath :(

haha & on a side note, KP has gotten out plenty of times looking stupid, like dismissed without a clue - to be classified as a great batsman.. lets c..

  • @pradeepanisonline dude u are wrong.. check Muhammad asif from pakistan on youtube. u will find an hidden great glen mcgrath in him.. am not kidding try it once.

  • @bestcreation004 tell us about that dopey shit.. comparing him to pidge you must be joking mate.

  • @warneys come out of ur superiority complex go check the stats of m asif then talk, if u cant do that watch some of his bowling videos here on youtube , that would be more then enough to shut ur mouth.

any waz am preety uncertain about his career because of controversies but without any denying he is an outstanding bowler.. u got to accept t.

  • @bestcreation004 who's denying that he's a good bowler with/without dope. But comparing him to pidge is a big no.

  • @warneys its obvious, asif is complete in experienced agaisnt bowler like glen mcgrath but surly if he gets free from all charges then his name will be seen in silver words.

  • @bestcreation004 Reserve your comments for until then.

  • @warneys u just cant order me like this, and nor u have any kind of hold of anyone's personal perception. ;)

  • @bestcreation004 Reserve your comments until then.

  • @pradeepanisonline For all the poms out there watching this: HAHAHA!.

  • @pradeepanisonline Bowling the seam upright like that is so difficult, bowling the seam upright and hitting cracks that accurately is fucking freaky...

  • @pradeepanisonline

dont forget west indies bowling attack of 80's.

  • @khanpreston1 would have loved to see the 80's West Indies play Australia's last team before all the greats left. Those would have been some amazing matches.

  • @khanpreston1 Those W.I guys were x90 more destructive.

  • @FastestBowlers2003 Really? 90 times? I don't think so mate, Mcgrath is on par with Ambrose and Walsh in their hayday.

  • This is a mgrath classic :)

    a true championnn!!!

  • 6/60?

  • Actually it is 6/50 :)

  • @ghostzulu sorry got the title mixed up thanks for reminding me

  • Beautiful line and length!
