2001 a space odyssey was conceived about 1964 and released to theaters in 1968. This was the first movie with truly realistic special effects and was the Director Stanley Kubrick's and Arthur C. Clark (the writer of the novel) their vision, and depiction of what life would be like in 32 years. Now, this is 8 years past and quite a different direction. By the way, it was followed up with "2012" with Roy Scheider & John Lithgow. Also good. A 3rd book 2059, was wrote, but not made into a movie, yet
thats awesome hahah you creep just like the first comment said 11 months ago hahah spooky hahaha with the cow and wacky footage made it even crazier nice one haha
It's OK, but I have to disagree that HAL is the greatest computer character of all time. What about Marvin and/or Deep Thought from HGTG? (the book, not the fucking movie)
It looks like we're looking through the eyes of HAL, a now humanoid robot machine transported to modern england hellbent on the destruction of the human race that wronged him. Just a hunch.
this is from a movie? whats it called?

I'm a huge fan of Kubick's "Space Odyssey" and all these years later I still get upset when Hal "expires". Nicely done.
