  • I can agree 100% with Phil. Wish we had more educated people to understand him.

  • 2:47 Piers Morgan you f** hypocritical-two faced-war mungering-no good-liar of a rat.. f** you n f** CNN who took you in from a talent show to sit in for Larry King !!

  • I'm 100% for Ron Pauls anti war stance......but I'm also 100% against his lack of support for social programs that he would destroy for middle and poor classes. Half and half means he looses my vote.

  • @carlobari60 A war with a country like Iran would not only drain money from middle class social programs but many other areas of taxpayers life not to mention countless lives. If I were you, I would say 'half n half means he GAINS my vote'...

  • @Sugarsurge7 Your point well taken. Facts though are he is a big looser in Arizona and Michigan. To the embarrassing extent of 0% of all votes cast. Time to retire and look for another anti war candidate. Hey, how about re electing Obama. So far his track record is great compared to Bush. He has been stopping 2 wars and is trying to avoid another war with Iran under incredible pressure by Israel and American Republican war mongers.

  • @carlobari60 true

  • Guns in Ohio schools used by kids. Got a complaint? Write your Ohio asshole Rep. John Boehner who votes for guns and weapons against the interest of parents. Or remember to vote.

  • My Obama got Osama....not Bush or any other big mouth Republican.

  • @carlobari60 your fucking retarded, both bush and obama have the same puppet strings and the war on terrorism has nothing to do with protecting your freedom

  • @TUCKERMCGRAW Stunning choice of verbage. You must of made it as far as 3rd grade.

  • @TUCKERMCGRAW Your choice of words tells me you have a 3rd grade education. Go back to school.

  • @carlobari60 Osama died in 2002 due to a kidney disease.

  • @JMcMac21 Please return to the planet Mongo where you came from.

  • @carlobari60 Suit yourself. The government never lies. and Obama didn't sneakily sign an unconstitutional act on New Years Eve either..

  • @carlobari60 Your obviously some kind of racist black who votes on color not credability

  • Santorum would lead to tyranny. All Republicans have the same mind set.

  • Socialism leads to tyranny, government eventually gets too big.

You just need the free market with no government involvement, the insurance companies will compete with each other, its impossible for them to keep people at ransom, otherwise people wont pay and they wont profit!

It would be so cheap, look at how McDonalds and Burger King compete, thats why its so cheap, is because THE FREE MARKET IS WORKING AS INTENDED!!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm already against the next war

  • Liberals and conservatives need to separate themselves from the infectious virus that hijacks our names. Facist creeps like Santorum that claim to be conservative and radical marxists who hide under liberalism. These parasites that are infecting the definitions of our ideaologies are what keep us from listening to eachother without first trying to figure out if there is a 'D' or 'R' next to their name. The two-party system is corrupt/failure and they don't want us to listen to one another.

  • Much respect to Phil as one who cares and understands what is truly going on. Most people don't care because in our society it's all about self, what you can acquire how much money. The Iraq war as with most wars many do not care if we were right or wrong because it is not up close and personal. We kill innocent people for no reason and for you who say we have reasons you need only research for the truth. Many are afraid of the truth of what it says about us as a country so they avoid it.

  • Why don't we drop the "tags" like, liberal, conservative, or any other term to generalize a group of people and listen to what makes sense? No matter who says something that makes sense, and has facts to back it up, everyone should listen and research and form their own opinion - regardless of their "tag".

  • It is all evil coming from religiosity among people's mentality. All people with religiousness have to answer in the end for all evils to come back as a consequences. Keep disregarding law of Causality - Cause and Effect. Strangely, the most harm causing nations will get the most destruction from nature in the form of hurricane and tsunamis of unimaginable proportions. Primarily North Atlantic hemisphere.

  • Phil, your group of people stole the term liberal from those that believe in small govt.

  • One problem I have with "liberal thought" is that on one hand they are critical, and rightly so, of a government killing millions of people in unconstitutional wars, then demand that same government to provide life securing healthcare_ Liberals, ask urself, can the same system that cares so little for people around world really care about you>? No_

  • @earthacademy . . .and you are the reason I so infrequently respond to anything anyone says on these things. You are what is referred to as a hopeless case. I mourn for your ignorance and hope one day someone may cure you of your affliction. Have a nice day!

  • I agree with some things that Phil says about war. But to think that socialized medicine will work is ignorant. There's no such thing as free. Somebody has to pay for it. When you have to government in health care there is no competition and it drives the cost up. We dump more money in the education system and it drives the price up. The same thing happens in health care.

  • @Beemanbros

    LOL

  • @Beemanbros SEE: United Kingdom

  • PRESIDENT PAUL PRESIDENT PAUL - PLEASE AMERICA - AGREE 100% OR NOT LET'S BE HONEST - HE'S THE ONLY ONE THAT CARES AND IF WE PUT THE ISSUES ON A BALANCE BEAM - MY FREEDOM AND LIBERTY IN AN AGE OF TYRANNY AND WAR, AND A SOUND MONETARY SYSTEM, ARE FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN ALL YOUR LITTLE QUARRELS ABOUT HIM!! PLEASE!! RON PAUL 2012 - THE LAST HOPE FOR THE WORLD - NOT JUST AMERICA!

  • @YourFreedomChannel I perhaps do not agree 100% with some of what Ron Paul stands for. But, his foreign policy, if he doesn't do a u turn when he is elected, could be the best thing that has happened to the USA and the world for the past 5 decades. If I was American, I would vote for him on his foreign policy alone. I would be nice for the world to see a friendlier America for a change.

  • Ron Paul's Racist Shrimp Recipe.

See it by putting "watch?v=Qhrb--6CngI" in the YouTube search bar.

  • He goes into healthcare and talk about dogma . . .a socialized healthcare system is a failure internationally. These idiots talk about the countries that have these systems as though the people love it. Completely false but you'll never get the truth from the likes of him.

  • @nathandetroit777 see: UK, works fine.

  • The war that is going to occur within the Middle East is a fundamental holy war. The bedrock of this nation has been chipped away because of liberal assholes like him. Guantanamo is the reason we could get Bin Laden. They talk like they want to defend the Constitution but his beliefs could not be farther from the truth.

  • @nathandetroit777 too many innocents in Guantanamo. Big talk for racist cowards who wouldn't last a week there.

  • Phil Donahue is a world class liberal jackass that is incapable of comprehending the need to protect. Iran is out of control. We are a warrior nation because everyone hates us. Not because we are bombing people. The world cannot deal with our wealth and excess.

  • @nathandetroit777 or you are part of the despicable and cowardly war mongering sociopathic monkey male group that enjoy to see innocent women and children murdered by rednecks, while hiding behind their safe computers.

  • @nathandetroit777 Excess as in morbidly obese and millions of animals slaughtered.

  • @earthacademy pps. yep, but you got one thing correct, the world is hating the US not because of jealousy (because Japan, Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia are better countries and nations, with a better standard of living and more educated people) but because the USA are now the new Nazis, creating a nation of parochial idiocy. And people had better wake up to that fact.

  • I think all those talks with Milton Friedman did a lot of good for Donahue...he has certainly embraced the ideas of classical liberalism....but he still just doesn't quite get it

  • Interestingly, Ron Paul did vote against going into Iraq. I believe he was one of about 10 or 11 people to vote against it.

  • Donahue was the tv spearhead for increases in State power for thirty years on his dumb show. Now he's a libertarian.

Ron Paul is the only choice for President to reverse the past sixty years of culture war by Bolshevists like Phil Donahue. Don't let this grifter tell you he is on Ron Paul's side. The only side he was ever on is Phil Donahue's side.

Along with Ed Begley I'd like to see this guy mulched and used as fertilizer on the Amazon rainforests they were always wailing about.

  • Santorum never met a message he didn't like to steal.

  • Thanks Donahue.. I think Ron Paul did well tonight in SC debates.. Was he mentioned afterwards?????? No he wasn't .. I will only vote for Ron Paul

  • Phil Donahue 2016 !!! i always have loved Donahue

  • Sorry Phil but access to a waiting list is NOT access to health care, I'm so happy I don't live in Canada...I'd still be waiting for the back surgery I had last October!!!

  • @radicalrachel71 well if you are go to a busy restaurant which denies 10% of their potential customers for one reason or another the chances are u are gonna get your table faster dont u think?

  • "Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany...But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, & it is always a simple matter to drag the people along...Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, & denounce the pacifists for a lack of patriotism & exposing the country to danger."--Hermann Goering

  • we need more celebs speaking out for Ron Paul. Great job Phil, I hope we see more of you.

  • I really enjoyed this, enlightening.

Haven't seen Donahue in YEARS, good man.

  • Right on the money!

  • "Devils advocate" at 6:00 so the devil is a right wing conservative??

    CNN is biased beyond belief

  • @LibertyDownUnder so is Fox News if you want to call it news .

  • @RepublicansAreNazis, quite obviously Fox is aligned with Republicans. Many of them are quite open about this.

But they are subjected to a lot more criticism than CNN is.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Neo cons, and dupes.

  • We're missing the point, and talking in circles. War is good for business. The military industrial complex is in control, and profiting off the loss of lives of our youth. and stealing countless billions of taxpayer dollars from the treasury. When are we going to wake up, and smell the coffee. We are not citizens anymore, we are consumers that support the elite's. We are slaves, nothing more. Everyday are bills get higher, from are utilties to everything we buy in the stores, like a cancer.

  • Let's not get on the, Liberals all know the answer and care band wagon, because they don't

War mongers do suck, but they aren't all conservatives. Obama has not restored our economy. He has instead added like 6 trillion to the debt. And we are still at war.

Liberal, conservative, ninja warrior, I don't care as long as you actually change some shit.

  • I'd love for ron paul to become president. at least he's got a leveled head on his shoulders

  • Thanks for cutting the Oprah.

  • you get a like for the removal of that XL bitch

  • Funny how, as a conservative, there are still so many things I can agree with Phil Donahue on.

  • Actually, Progressivism is the more original term. Liberalism in it's classical sense is akin to Libertarianism; Progressivism has always been what we consider "liberal" (i.e., more government regulation, government programs, *progressive* income tax, more central government, etc).

  • wait guys just a confusion, i thought guantanamo was closed down?

  • @aznf0rl1fe nope it is still open

  • When I was a child, my father's joke was that Phil Donahue was a woman trapped in a man's body. Watching this man's mannerisms and whatnot proves him right.

And, well shit, if Donahue is supporting Ron Paul I can't. It's kind of like when I thought about getting an earring in high school as a sign of rebellion and then I noticed that Andy Rooney had one and...well...fuck...that blew the whole thing out of the water!

    ROMNEY '12: BELIEVE IN AMERICA!

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie I support ron paul and your dad was an idiot. He is intellectually incapable of understanding Donahue and his other crime producing an idiot like you.

  • @ednan9 Thank you for pointing out that idiots like this guy and his dad are what is wrong with many voters in America. His comment made me ill.

  • @AllTerroristsMustDie Romney is the biggest flip flopper ive seen in years, at lest Ron Paul has been consistent over 30 years. No politician is perfect but i know w can do better than Romney

  • A problem is that people are talking about whether or not we are going to "go after" Iran, as if that is a question of future behavior. Read Pepe Escobar, Seymour Hirsh and Glenn Greenwald. Iran and Syria are already being destabilized by terrorists who are being armed and supported by the US. Our vets are marching to Washington for Ron Paul in February. The rest of us should be listening, thinking and helping to keep our country at peace, by helping Ron Paul and anything else we can do.

  • Donahue is so full of bull. He says all this and then backs Obama 100%!!! What a hypocrite!

  • @aldm1967 If he backed Obama, then it was because Obama promised to end the wars. There are plenty of examples of people who supported Obama initially, then have since realized he lied and broke many of his promises. So they switched to the only candidate with a proven track record of honest integrity, and that is Ron Paul.. He's no different than the millions of others who have finally gotten Ron Pauls message. Ron Paul 2012!

  • @SeattleSSA I agree with Ron Paul and will vote for him!!! As far as Phil goes, he's not voting for Paul. That's one of Obamas' few lies about ending the war or wars. Anyone that researched Obama at all before voting for him would have seen that he's a marxist! He's doing exactly what he wants to do!!!

  • Piers says he doesn't have a horse in the race; if war goes nuclear, everyone on the planet has a horse in the race.

  • Donahue used to have Ayn Rand on his show, but he still won't call himself a Libertarian. Interesting.

  • this whole nation is run by Isreal... from a-z....

  • @GlenRoSSe69 Not in 2013 it's not. Go Ron!

  • I have video on my CH of children from Libya with here intestines out of her body. The doctors are trying to figure out how to put her back together. This I think is why Obama was selected so we could invade Africa and no one says a word. Nothing ever just happens it is always planed.

  • His voice tone sounds kinda like Ronald Reagan...

  • i hate piers morgan. what a corporate tool. all he does is flip flop

  • @driil4will But he is the only judge on AGT with rationale.

  • @Brucev7 lol

  • I wish Phil Donahue would run for President!!!

  • I wish Phil Donahue would start another show on line. He really talked about a lot of important social issues and he was the only talk show host that would ask touch questions of the politicians.

COME BACK PHIL WE NEED YOU!

  • Obama should play some Call of Duty to get all the violence out of him.

  • "I cut out the oprah talk"

THANK YOU so much, you probably saved me a trip to the toilet

  • While I do realize they're not talking about Dr.RP's position on federal health care,.. of which I oppose,.. 'The Donah & P.M.' were actually making sense until that point.. then it turned into more of a,"Why don't We act like Europe?" love-fest..

We don't act like Europe because we're not Living There..

The only currency performing worse than the Dollar is the Euro..

So, I Guess we're trying real hard to catch up with them,.. by bailing them out .. again..

then we'll be just like them.. Broke!

  • Is this an endorsement? I think so, if not outright. Which is exactly how Dr. Paul would want it. Ron Paul 2012

  • Phil Donahue spoke common sense. Nothing he said should be considered even left wing. This is just common sense stuff that the majority of Americans believe in. Thats why Ron Paul is number TWO in the polls. Not three. People are tired of both sides and theyre sick of the spending and sick of the wars. Enough is enough.

  • I'd like to see Phil as Ron Paul's running mate.

  • I saw a sound bite from an average old American guy being interviewed the other day while Republicans were on the campaign trail. He said that America needed to maintain it's military expansionism because of the serious threat being posed by China. He obviously was unaware that his government have sold a trillion dollars worth of securities to China to ensure he can have cheap dentures. It's this disconnect between fact and propaganda that creates so much ineffective meat in the electorate.

  • I learned something today- I like Phil Donahue

  • @swinginmad he's BEEN the man

  • Phil, you got it right my man. I respect your opinion

  • Dont believe the lie. Ron Paul gets more votes and more support. The media tells us otherwise but always remember; all media is owned by only a handful and it's not against the law for the media to lie.

  • Among other things, a "socialist" cooperation among American industries enabled the boom in production that won WWII.

  • anyone that lets there fear override there common sense there heart and there soul and above all else supports war you can go and fight the war your damn self seeing how you love death destruction and the flowing of blood if your to coward to go fight it your self sit down and shut the hell up

  • "This is a nation of law, unless were scared." Truer words of modern day America have not been spoken

  • Wow.

  • I support Paul but Donahue is still an idiot.

  • why dont Pierce Morgan cut Donahue off and asks about Ron Paul's newsletters from 1980, like the other MSM talking heads would do?

  • Or maybe ask him for his birth certificate?

  • Vote your conscience!

  • @ron45paul You can keep that smarmy little prick, hopefully one of you trusty yanks will shoot him.

  • Phil's last show had Holocaust researchers and survivors of the concentration camps refute many myths promoted by ADL joos that don't have the Christian "forgive & forget" mentality.

Joos pulled his Matrix plug very next day, just like Rosie, CNN Rick Sanchez, Mel Gibson, Helen Thomas, etc.

  • @euro944t - Very true. I try to point these things out too, and most people are too brainwashed to even listen - they just react like they're programmed to, and immediately begin gnashing their teeth and screaming "Anti-Semite".

  • RON PAUL 2012 or BUST.

  • @armyofheaven777

You can bet if Ron leaves the toilet seat up…CNN will be there to demonize him for it.

  • @euro944t - You hit the nail on the head there. Luckily only the 40 and older crowd even watches mainstream media anymore. Everyone else gets their news from alternative sources on the net. As Dr Paul says, "You cannot kill an idea whose time has come." And today, millions of Americans are remembering that long lost idea called Liberty. RP12

  • If you really like what Phil Donahue has to say, you propably should considet voting for Obama. Ron Paul is perhaps one of the most conservative representative, like, ever.

  • @greshgurt absolutely correct, i m not a big fan of obama, i support the green party, but there are too many seemingly intelligent individuals blindly following r paul's anti environment/public education platform

  • If the president and the politicians want a war then they can go fight with their family on the frontlines don't send other people's son or daughter's to fight your war you want to start. F### all these politicians they piss me off i bet they would shit their pants if they were in the battlefield they talk so tough behind a desk.

  • the voice of reason once again will never be heard or listened to .

  • Ya know... a LOT of Americans over 45 remember Phil Donahue and watched him for YEARS on television doing stuff that was at times, very edgy. Maybe, JUST maybe, if those people are still watching TV, this Donahue interview will they will at least get them to take a look at, and maybe consider, Ron Paul for President.

  • I'm a Liberal. And I love the FUTURE POTENTIAL of America. But definitely everything else about its current state and past, I quite hate.

  • outstanding interview.

  • I go around saying I'm a Liberal.

  • Sounds like 2 drunks talking to each other. To think that I used to think that Donahue wasn't an idiot.

  • @TripleSpeak So,...I take it you'd like another war....

  • @SpitfireOFatj Take a logic class.

  • Thanks for skipping Oprah. I don't like her.

  • Americans are like a group of girls voting on which rapist they'd rather get raped buy, Ron Paul off the side says, " I will stop the rape from going on" But stupid americans are so used to gettting raped they think it's normal. Gotta vote for the best looking rapist! All the while the raper say, I'm a gigolo, and you owe me money!

  • @MrGrandwazzoo45 you sir are a genius :)

  • @MrGrandwazzoo45 bloody Brillliant!! can i borrow and use your comment bro?

  • There is something in between being a Pacifist and a Warmonger. They are merely two extreme ends of the same spectrum. Just because someone isn't a warmonger does not necessarily mean they are a pacifist. And boo hoo Phil. Trust me, there are plenty of other people with unique political ideologies that are far more marginalized than "The Liberal". A person who's FIRST job was while attending college epitomizes the American Dream?! No wonder the idea of it was ruined... because it never existed.

  • "I'M NOT BRAVE ENOUGH TO BE A PACIFIST." -Phil Donahue.

This quote should go into Bartlett's. Well said Phil!!!

  • GO RON PAUL 2012!

  • I RESPECT PHIL

  • @qwihtown : I like Phil too, but in many respects, I don't think he goes far enough. However, his insights and memories are very insightful.

  • @qwihtown me too. awesome. from canada

  • @qwihtown If I didn't before, I do now.

  • @Moxy: Title is a little misleading. He's talking about Santoum, not Paul. I can see why you worded it that way, but if you want to be accurate/factual...

  • @MrRontree I was thinking the exact same thing. Socialism is completely unconstitutional no mater how simplified a description of Obama Care you give. You think immigration is bad now? Ya the British system is so good thats why immigration is killing the. I for one dont want to see Obama Care right under social security when i get my pay check.

  • @ctywhite "Socialism is completely unconstitutional"

This country wasn't founded on Capitalism.

  • oh america how i wish you would do the right thing and vote in mr paul

  • fuck you phil you two-faced white hating motherfucker you know where the tension is coming from; your JEWISH FRIENDS!

  • this man is schizophrenic. i'm glad he supports ron paul but on one hand he says he's messianic and likes the constitution and in the same breath advocates socialist medicine.

  • @MrRontree More like he is non-dualistic. As in, you can support one aspect of one thing, while being nervous about another, or oppose another aspect.. at the same time. Humans can be conditioned into duelistic and non-dualistic thinking, and it just so happens that (imo) politicians prefer us to think in strict black-and-white.

Ex. I support Ron Paul's role in this, and his non-interventionist proposals. I also however, would oppose a 100% dismantlement of welfare, dept. of Education, etc...

  • @SwobyJ i agree, (especially in terms of education, fed student loans etc) the solution r paul seems to advocate for the greatest contributing factor to health care costs, emergency room costs, would be solved by churches and neighbors. it s absurd and exceedingly detrimental to the future of this country.

  • @jeremyshambles That said.. I think that he views it all as a transition. He doesn't seem to expect say student financial aid to be removed overnight. It would be a gradual transition to increase competition between schools for lower costs, removing much of the need for student aid as long as one can work. Yes, once upon a time one could pay for their entire year of university through a very good summer job (and maybe a part time during school).

  • @SwobyJ the reason germany is so advanced in terms of skilled labor is because they have a govt subsidized college program. everyone has to go to some sort of educational instit. in order to learn a skill. the importance of an educated pop. cannot be understated. cheers

  • @jeremyshambles The reason Germany can afford a govt. subsidized college program is because America pays for Germany's defense.

  • @MrRontree well said! like the message, dont like his ideology

  • This speaks to how shitty the other candidates are as much as it does Ron Paul. Well, except Buddy Roemer. Love that guy.
