I wish Ron Paul would make a statement about the tyranny happening on wallstreet right now. People who are trying to exercise their 1st amendment right to peacefully assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances are being assulted and arrested. Just like Ron Pauls campaign the MSM are ignoreing the abuse of Americans civil liberties. A Ron Paul speach from or to wall st. would go along way to help this country remember why the constitution and Bill of Rights were written.

@dapop1001 Ron Paul is clearly on record opposing the Wall Street-Fed Reserve- police state alliance; he is totally supportive of peaceful political speech and demonstrations. He is an ally to the extent the demonstrators oppose BigGov's coercive mandates that impose fiat currency & debt spending/inflation. But when the point of the demonstration is muddled by belief in BigGov debt spending which allows tyranny, he would still support free speech though not endorsing that mistaken viewpoint.

@leafwatch Ron Paul allways goes by the constitution. Amendment #1 of our bill of rights says that we have the right "peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The police are assulting American citizens for doing what our forefathers expected us to do as citizens who govern themselves. They are assulting American citizens for misdemenor crimes like loitering, and blocking public right of way.They are commiting felonies to stop misdemenors. Cruel unusual?

You must understand the historic and current relationship between big government in control of the economy; therefore in control of everything, the people relegated to subservient serfs expected to work, pay, and obey the overlords. @dapop1001 Few are doing as much, or as courageous work as Ron Paul, to help the world's people attain independence. He certainly does not stand quietly by, though the controlled media does its best to silence and marginalize him. Commenting on YouTube is not doing much. Americans are still free enough to educate themselves and the unawakened, and to work for independence from tyranny. It will take a long time to undo the damage, a LOT of moral tenacity, hard work and fierce dedication.
