I'm with Fender on this. Old and new Disciple are both great for what they were and now are. I enjoy them both.
I will say that they seem to have more stage presence back in the old days. Not sure how much of it is personality or if it's just the hair!
That said this is a great video. I'm glad someone mentioned it in the more viewed posting. I like the other one better, but that's likely due to having played it so many more times they really honed their art.
The "old" disciple is so much better IMHO, on "horseshoes and hand grenades" they just sound to "corporate", the pre-2004 stuff is the best, in fact, my favorite album was 1995's "What was i thinking".
This song freaking rules though, God of Elijah too.
Man i remember seeing Disciple way back in like 97 or 98 it was when their 2nd CD was out My daddy can whip your daddy then i saw them many times after word. The last time i saw them the Self titled album was just coming out
vintage Disciple is right. Kevin was rocking the bass. this might sting a little changed my life. when i met Disciple i told them that, they were like "whoa".
See this was when everything was going awesome for them! I knew them at this time cuz my dad was touring with them back in like 2000, 2001, maybe early 2002 and all of these guys were so cool and everything and they came over had dinner and were just awesome!
Dude...that seems like such a long time ago. That's when they were on top of their game...before Yoko(Joey) came and ruined the band! Little emo punk. HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA...Just Kidding. But seriously...I like them better just the three of them.
i love this band i always will this one of their best song as a three piece band ,. i miss brad though he was awsome at the guitar . i saw them in oak ridge on 9-13-09 that is my birthday
They were the best when they where a three piece band. I love the old school better than southern hospality . i think they were alot better with brad on guitar than micha sannon is bo offense micha is great too but i like brad better. i love this band they rock for christ god bless jesus rocks and so does disciple
I JUST KNOW DISCIPLE is the BEST Christian Band out There.
