I have this phone and it's great. Trick for battery life is to underclock. I am quite sure there is a root for Gingerbread now. I actually have it set to go 1800mhz from 100-60% 1024mhz from 60-20% and 768 from 20% down. Also you can set it to 300mhz during calls to keep from using too much juice.

Paul if your reading this keep this guy he is able to accurately portray the item while keeping the viewers interest and in my opinion is the best person to assist you. Kyle is the only one of the new temps to actually do a good Job and should be rewarded for it as the other new people were camera shy and not good at displaying and informing the viewers of the product.

I have had my one for 4months :) Phones come out really early in Great Britain for some reason xD

i haven't seen any locked SGS2's yet so im guessing they are all unlocked but it may be different in the USA
