Hey guys, have you been to Addis Abeba Ethiopia? I went there and it was insane they love Bob Marley, and Michael Jackson there. It was strangely authentic. Walking down the streets of a metropolitan African city hearing concrete jungle playing out of a boombox. It kind of sucked overall though. The guys with limbs missing begging on the sides, the poor children asking for money. I gave a bit, but it's hard to give there when 1/3 of the population asks for your money.(I'm Somali, born in Canada)

I felt just as bad when Bob Marley died as I did when John Lennon was killed. As a creative spirit Marley was Lennon's equal in every way. Big lights switched off when both passed from this Earth.

The other thing I'd like to say is, the Barrett brothers are hands down one of the most awesome rhythm sections to ever grace a stage or recording studio. No bass/drum pairing comes close to their creativity in reggae, and may be only matched by Booker T & the MG's duo Duck Dunn/Al Jackson.
