@MrClutchdutch Yeah, you can but it's not a "void" cube, even though it behaves just like one.

Honestly if you want to voidcube experience, I'd just do as you said and take off the center caps, that way you can put 'em back on when you get the dreaded parity error. ;]

I don't understand the parity error in the last layer. It happens sometimes and I can solve it, but I don't understand why it happens or how t solve it.

@AndrewDangerously the reason why it happens it's because when you solve it the centers sometimes could be wrong and your trying to solve it with centers in a impossibe position and if you try it causes parity

the color scheme is different than a standard rubik's cube

(color on a standard)-(color on the void cube)

blue-blue

green-green

red-red

orange-yellow

yellow-dark grey/black

white-light grey

mine locks and doesnt cut corners at all

That thing just blows my mind. Its amazing that they managed to do a fully functional one. Its also easyer to solve because you dont have to worry about the center pieces.

uhhh actually you NEVER solve the centers on a rubik's cube so thats incorrect info. Plus its harder because since you dont know what side is what you run into parities so its harder not eassier

dude the reason this cube is cooler than a normal rubik's cube with center stickers taken off is that it doesn't have any center cubes at all. it would need to have an ingenious design to turn correctly, since all rubik's cubes depend on the center cube to work

I could have bought the void cube while I was in Japan this summer, but I decided not to because I did not think it would be worth it since it looked almost exactly like the Rubik's Cube.

I regret that decision because it would have been a cool addition to my collection. Oh well.

If you mean, how well does it turn:

It turns pretty well once lubed, but does not cut corners very well and isn't very good for speed solving.

I don't have the time for a lube video. If you want to lube it, there are two methods of lubing:

1. Pop off one corner, and spray silicon lube into the corner while moving the cube around.

2. Disassemble the entire cube and lube each piece. Then reassemble.

I'm pretty sure the white void cube is a knock off cube. If you want a Void Cube, support Katsuhiko Okamoto and buy a real one.

But to answer you question, the white one should be the same as this one.
