Before this movie Scorsese made "Who's that Kncocking at my door?" with Keitel (no Dinero)in B&W. It won an award at the Chicago film festival. It was meant to be part one and Mean Streets part 2 but it just didn't turn out that way due to many different factors in production. It's worth a rent to see Who's that Knocking at my door?
