Hey, I'm far from home and having a day (a week, a month) that would make any one of Barett's privateers feel sorry for me. I think I understand what you're saying here but try to remember that my dad (Stan) openly encouraged people to "change the chords to suit your tastes, change the melody....etc. just let me hear it so I can steal what you do if I like in the time-honoured tradition known as the 'folk process'. A few years ago an friend passed this along. It came to her from a brother whe she was low. It's a source of strength and inspiration. I can never repay her.
