So we don't know if he is a fake or not? Does that absolve us from ALL responsibility to tend to the homeless and feed the hungry as Jesus instructed? Yes, there will be fakes out there. Someone could have at least offered him some form of help. I'd wager a lot of those churches and organizations are affiliated or acquainted with shelters or various social organizations. You don't have to just throw a wad of cash at someone to help them.

If you have ever been to China there are fake beggars everywhere these people seem to be very legitimate having temendously sad stories of how they have become homeless, yet they go home to something which is far from 'homeless'.

Yes anyone can write up a sign and pretend that they're homeless but there is nothing concrete to suggest that this is the case.

So he's got a branded beanie and a fitness first bag, it doesn't mean he's faking it. There are heaps of homeless like that, like people who started out living in a home but then due to financial difficulty lose their home and whatnot, and beside IF A PERSON BECOMES HOMELESS ITS NOT LIKE HE'LL HAVE NO ASSETS, HE'LL ATTAIN SOME OF HIS ASSETS such as SOME clothes.
