It is not known how the first life began (such an event would not have left fossil evidence, of course) but there are very plausible theories about how it might have happened. Once life begins, evolution provides a sufficient explanation. Evolution is, after all, a scientific fact.

Indeed, the official position of the Roman Catholic Church is that evolution is true and does not contradict a proper understanding of Christianity.
Personally, I used to be a Christian and evolution is *not* one of the reasons that I stopped believing in God.

The Church always lagged one step back with science along the history, rejected Galileo galilei idea of round earth, then accepted it after being proven, the same thing with Darwin's. I don't think the Church suddenly found evolution theory written in a newly found page in the Bible, It just kept changing out of embarresment in front of the scientific community. Theoritically, If Church GOD was true! He would must have mentioned something about our creation in the Bible, wouldn't he?

Does the Qur'an provide a coherent creation narrative or is it scattered throughout the book? If I want to look at the creation story in the Bible, I just have to look at Genesis chapters 1 and 2. Does the Qur'an have something analogous to that?

So, why is God so hard to find? Is he shy? Does not want to be known? Is he afraid? Or is it simply the case that there ain't no such critter? The latter is more likely to be true.
You are just guessing! You can't confirm beyond any reason of doubt that God does NOT exist! Can you? It's not enough by throwing some few questions, like where is he? why he doesn't talk to us? The suitable declaration is: We're just not sure yet whether he exists or not! Using a CONFIRMATORY PHRASE, GOD doesn't exist! would be a big mistake.

@ProudMusalmaan One of the most important reasons to think that there is no God is the fact that there is absolutely no testable evidence that should lead one to rationally conclude that a God most likely exists. None. Not in the Qur'an, not in the Bible, not in any so-called holy book and not in the world around us. I'm aware that Muslims claim that the Qur'an is miraculous and proves God. I've read the "evidence" and it does not stand up to rational scrutiny.

The answers to those questions are found in science, not religion. The Qur'an and the Bible have never contributed to scientific knowledge and, despite what some believers say, are frequently in contradiction of the facts established by science.

@extra222love No, there is no reason to think that there is a creator. A creator as an explanation is completely unnecessary. (And, honestly, we both know that when you say "creator" you mean "God".)
It is not known how the first life began (such an event would not have left fossil evidence, of course) but there are very plausible theories about how it might have happened. Once life begins, evolution provides a sufficient explanation. Evolution is, after all, a scientific fact.

There are many steps along the way to human intelligence that are explained. For example, there is reason to think that a single mutation about 2.5 million years ago weakened the jaw muscles attached to the upper part of the skull, making it possible for the size of the skull to increase.
Religion, though, explains 0.

@extra222love Actually, many Christians accept the evidence for evolution. It is only the most conservative Christians who find that they cannot accept evolution and remain in the church. Indeed, the official position of the Roman Catholic Church is that evolution is true and does not contradict a proper understanding of Christianity.
Personally, I used to be a Christian and evolution is *not* one of the reasons that I stopped believing in God.

4- Evidences of authenticity. (Languistic & Scientific).
5- The story of life & Creation.

So, whether or not the intent was to predict powered flight, that's the way it would naturally be understood by people who were aware of powered flight and who desired their belief in the Qur'an to be justified. They are not so much getting the meaning out of it as they are putting their own understanding into it. Same thing happens with Nostradamus, etc. Nothing divine in that.

There are no good reasons to think that a god exists or has ever existed. Nothing that is observed requires that we think that a God is likely to exist. @extra222love Are you seriously calling that evidence? You've presented nothing but pure speculation. You haven't provided a single reason to conclude that a god was most probably involved.
There are things that are not yet understood but a lack of knowledge and understanding about how something happened is never a good excuse to leap to the conclusion that God did it.
You need to do a lot better than that.

@extra222love Evolution provides a perfectly adequate explanation. The fossil record shows a gradual progression from apelike ancestors to modern humans.
Our ancestors exploited a particular type of niche and became big-brained. Species in other branches of the evolutionary tree exploited other niches and became better at certain things than we are. The fact that you don't know how something happened is not evidence of God. That fact that you don't know merely means that you don't know.

I doubt that what you say about Darwin being a theist is true. Creationists have been spreading that lie for a long time. Can you tell me in what book he wrote that and exactly where in the book it is found? I don't think you can. I think you are merely repeating hearsay.

God progamed Animals with BIOS, (Basic Input & Output System) in another words (Basic Instincts), BIOS only helps in Foraging, Reproduction & Survival skills. Meanwhile, God programed Humans with a full 'Apple' Operating System, which BIOS is just tiny part of it!
Do you know that Animals don't know that Sex leads to Reproduction!, they do it only when their BIOS kicks in the Libido Hermones. Do you know why? They lack REASON.

The marverllous Killer Whales, Dolphins & Seals SHOW taking place at Sea World, San Diego, (Which my family & I enjoyed last summer) only reflects the ability of such creatures to change their FORAGING habits, as they were TRAINED! to do such circus acts in order to get a punch of Sardines!
From animal perspective, the show is no more than MEAL time, They never connected their acts with real REASON! Give some happiness to the SPECTATORS!
