Most criminals admit deciding against commiting crime due to the presence of a firearm, or knowlege that he/she is in a gun legal zone. Rosie O'Donnel's security team is armed with handguns. All mass killing shooters broke multiple gun laws, some had weapons that were "banned" from that state, tacking on 10 more laws wouldn't change a thing.

Look ignoramus, the dude held the pistol sideways. It was no more than 10 inches away. Anyone with sense knows that if you grab the end of the barrel and yank in the direction of the bottom of hand from that position it'll slip out from their grip. You can also grab a gun from the upright position by grabbing the end of the barrel and turn it inwards going the same direction of the fingers. Of course there is a grab technique you do just before that. Learn some self defense before commenting.
