QUESTION: Madoff was doing this scam "for years"....so.....what caused it to unravel and colapse. Was it the economy?....all of the sudden people wanted their money back due to the bad economy and then he could not come up with the money? Is that the deal?

To virgiliorodriguezmac: just curious about something. Your very appropriate statement saying "Madoff should burn in hell for eternity." Does the Jewish religion believe in the concept of "heaven & hell"? Do they believe that some day they will be held accountable to a higher power? Just logically speaking.....this "might" be a reason for him having absolutely no quams about doing this to thousands of people. Does anyone know if Jewish people have that concept in their religion?

Fraud is not limited to Jews- Ponzi was Italian. Numerous major Jewish figures have condemmed Madoff and his actions clearly violate not just US law but also Jewish law.

USA ain't nothing but a huge scam. The only time a jew ever considers himslef to be a failure is when he fails to steal all the money. Charlie Munger said it best for all-time about jews such as Bernard Madoff, Lou Pearlman, Reed Slatkin, Sam Israel, Steven Hoffenberg, Markus Schrenker, Hank Paulson and Alan Greenspan.
